About this villa rental

The area of the house consists of 170 sq.m (without the studio), and 220 sq.m (with the studio). It is a peaceful on a 4000 sq.m garden with trees, close to the Seine, with private landing stage, and terraces. There are 12 beds (without the studio) 14 beds (with the studio), 3 shower rooms, 6 sinks,
3 large showers, and 4 WC.
You will find 3 bedrooms (without the studio), 4 bedrooms with the studio (2 twin beds in each room) + 2 beds of 90 cm in the 30 sq.m living room on the first floor + a small bedroom downstairs with a curtain, with 2 bunk beds, + 2 sofa bed in the main living room.
You will also find Wi-Fi, three large pools, a fenced in private parking,
swings, and a possibility for fishing. Close to the house, there is a water base, golfing, climbing and paragliding, gourmet restaurants, all the shops and a large area of 6 km. It is possible too rent the whole villa for 10-14 people with the studio.

Nice living room and fantastic terras Beautiful garden Great pool Bethroom and bathroom are ok, just a bit older. We had a very pleasant holiday there. You don't have to go out every day to feel like you're on holiday. The house and garden offer many opportunities to have a good time. Tios for outings: Etretat with its beautiful rocky coast and charming Rouen pleasantly surprised us. Versailles is also worth a day trip.

It was overall a pleasant stay. The garden is by far the most amazing part! The house is great however a bit dated and could use a little makeover. The arrival was good even as the contact with the owner! The neighbours were quickly irritated because of the ‘noice’ outside.

Beware! Decent house, but terrible host

I had the worst experience with a host. After I booked and paid through Vrbo, for 48 nights for 14 persons, the owner asked for an additional payment of 42% of the price. I thought it is unbelievable. I did not accept this, I wanted to cancel. After some days of messaging, when the emergency state was imposed in France and she realized she will not get other guests, she accepted my offer to pay a small additional amount and finalized the booking. The pictures in the presentation are not very accurate. Some of the rooms upstairs do not appear in the pictures. They are rather small, crowded, and connected. Also, in one of the pictures a washing machine appears, but in reality there is no washing machine (true, in the text description it does not appear). It was not reasonable for my group to stay for 48 nights without a washing machine, so I offered to buy and install one, at my cost. The owned suggested a friend that will sell and install the washing machine for 250 euro. I accepted. But the guy just came with the washing machine, collected the money and left the machine, without installing it. Our guys did the installation in the end. Closer to the end of the booked period, our plans changed and we decided to leave 6 days early. And again something unbelievable happened. The owner (Chantal) tried to get more money from me. She asked for an additional 100 euro for cleaning, even though we paid at check-in for the cleaning, the amount that she requested. I clearly refused, so she did one more thing to make the whole experience "complete". She said she cannot come for check-out on Friday evening, even though we announced her on Thursday. So we had to stay and wait for her until Saturday at 9:00, instead of leaving at 5:00, as we planned. So definitely I will not book this property ever again. And I do not recommend it.

We had a lovely stay here. The house was very nice with lovely spacious grounds.The kids loved the pool and the garden. The kitchen was very well equipped. The local area is beautiful and never more than 20 minutes away from a large supermarket with plenty to do and see in the area. Only minor criticisms, it would have been nice to have access to a washing machine and iron.

We loved our stay in this beautiful villa. The garden area just by the lake was amazing and the pool area outstanding. The house itself was extremely clean and had all essentials needed for a great stay. The owner was contactable and nothing was to much trouble. We would defintely recommend staying here and hope to do so again. We ever forgot a bottle of expensive wine and the owner is posting out to us, defo great customer service. Thank you for such a lovely holiday

Top locatie. Dicht bij een grote stad. Mooi uitzicht en goed huis. Wel verouderd en niet alle gebreken op te hoogte. Buren zijn een groot probleem. Bij het kleinste geluid geschreeuw, en gaan mogelijkheid tot overleg.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans la maison de Chantal. La propriétaire a été flexible sur les horaires de départ. Nous n'avons pas eu de soucis avec les voisins contrairement à d'autre. La maison a beaucoup de charme et le cadre est très calme. Seul petit bémol tout de même concernant les couchages. Nous avions réservé pour 16 personnes et 2 personnes ont du dormir sur les canapés. Il y a 3 vraies chambres (8 couchages), 4 couchages sur le pallier à l'étage qui est suffisant grand mais manque d'intimité et 2 couchages en bas séparés par un rideau. Quelques bûches à l'arrivée n'aurait pas été de refus, au contraire :) Je recommande tout de même ce logement.

Nous avons flashe en premier lieu pour la piscine magnifique et ses proportions plus que demesurees. La maison est egalement tres jolie. Le cadre est superbe avec les falaises en arriere plan et la riviere au fond du jardin. Prendre bien note avant de debarquer avec tous ses amis que 1) le sujet du bruit dans le jardin (musique, etc.) est tres sensible avec un des voisins et que 2) les equipements menagers sont reduits voire pas forcement disponibles (lave-vaisselle, machine a laver), tout ca est bien note dans l'annonce mais il faut l'avoir en tete.

Nous avons passons un week end à 15 personnes Tout a été parfait de l'accueil au check out, la communication entre la propriétaire et nous a été fluide. Un grand merci à Sabrina pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. Le gros avantage de la maison est la taille du jardin, d'autant plus qu'il y a tout pour en profiter (piscine, jeux, fléchette, table de tennis de table etc...). Le seule bémol sont les 300 L d'eau chaude par jour, mais sinon tout a été parfait du début à la fin pour nous. Bref un excellent week end sans encombre dans cette charmante propriété :). A recommander vivement pour un week end entre amis ou en famille nombreuse.

Maison très agréable pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis, beaux espaces. En revanche, bémol important : il est impossible de profiter sereinement de l’extérieur et de la piscine puisque le moindre petit bruit (même hors musique) dérange les voisins, qui alertent la propriétaire. S’en suivent alors des échanges peu cordiaux malgré une volonté de rester conciliants et bienveillants avant tout. Nous avons failli devoir écourter notre séjour. Il semble y avoir un vrai contentieux entre la propriétaire et ses voisins, qui impacte directement les locataires pendant leur séjour.

Les extérieurs sont très joli, la vue sur le bras de seine est splendide De grandes baies d’epoque, illuminent la maison de lumière, seulement en hiver laissent aussi passer les courants d’air La maison méritait d’être chauffée plusieurs jours avant l’arrivée, car même à 14 nous avons eu du mal à nous réchauffer le 1er jour Heureusement un bon feu de cheminée nous a aidé La description des chambres est mal énoncé, à 6 couples nous avons dû réorganiser les lits, 2 couple ont dormi ensemble Seulement 2 vrais lits double, sinon lit simples dont 2 superposés Maison avec beaucoup de caractère, mérite d’être rénovée et entretenue correctement, le pallier des chambres à l’étage, dont 4 couchages) et 1 salle de bain vraiment à revoir... moquette et plafonds très sales, peintures craquelée, joints noirs... Bref les photos sont un peu trompeuses sur l’état de la maison Mais cadre agréable séjour sympathique tout de même

The house itself needs renovation, it is dirty and a lot of things are broken. A short list of defects: broken crockery and glas. broken chairs broken cabinets rusted cutlery dirty old couch mold in the bathroom, bathrooms are dirty broken hand shower The stairs in the swimming pool are loose Various light switches are broken and provisionally repaired very small kitchen (6 m2 with one small electric stove, not enough for 10 persons, let alone for 18) Bunk beds are two normal beds put on top of eigether broken lock in the bathroom tiles terrace are broken and sharp fence terrace broken (and therefore not firm) door frames and doors are dirty fireplace still has the ashes and wood of the previous tenants dirty air from septic tank The house is rented out to 18 persons. But there are only 4 bedrooms. There is a bedroom created in a room with curtains as doors. In the corridor they have put 4 beds and the couches in the livingroom should make two beds, but they are to dirty to sit on. The only persons we saw in the house were the housekeeping team and a friend of the owner who cleans the pool. None of them spoke anything else but French. We called the owner but she didn't want to solve any of the problems. She only started to yell at us. If you want to see the real pictures, send me a pm. Le jardin de cette maison est beau, grand et au bord de la Seine. Mais c'est la seule bonne chose à propos de cette maison. La maison elle-même a besoin d'être rénovée, elle est sale et beaucoup de choses sont cassées. Une courte liste de défauts: vaisselle et verre cassés. chaises cassées armoires brisées couverts rouillés sale vieux canapé de la moisissure dans la salle de bain, les salles de bain sont sales douchette cassée Les escaliers dans la piscine sont lâches Divers interrupteurs sont cassés et réparés provisoirement très petite cuisine (6 m2 avec une petite cuisinière électrique, pas assez pour 10 personnes, encore moins pour 18 personnes) Les lits superposés sont deux lits normaux posés au dessus d'un lit simple serrure brisée dans la salle de bain les carreaux de terrasse sont cassés et pointus clôture de la terrasse cassée (et donc non ferme) les cadres et les portes sont sales air sale de fosse septique Pour les photos envoyez moi un pm

Le prix est attractif mais c’est sans compter qu’il faut payer les couvertures pour 180€ de plus. L’eau chaude est insuffisante pour 18 personnes, la cuisine petite et un seul lave-vaisselle. En fait, je recommanderais pour max 15 personnes. Le jardin donnant sur le fleuve fut un coup de cœur et la piscine bien aménagée est grande mais pas chauffée.

Endroit paradisiaque! Rencontre très intéressante et sympathique avec les habitants anglais de la villa! Cohabitation parfaite malgré la mauvaise insonorisation! Accueil chaleureux et très professionnel de mr et mme L. Le studio doit encore un peu être aménagé mais solution idéale pour un jeune couple. Beaucoup d'humidité dans la maison et manque d'une hotte et d'une lumière extérieure! Literie parfaite et salle de bain idéale. A découvrir! Nous reviendrons,merci!
