About this house rental
Traditional stone house on two levels, located in a hamlet near the castle of Mauriac 4 km from Neuvic sur l'Isle and all its shops. It is classified 3 stars tourism.
Ideally placed on a plot of 4900 square meters with a secure garden terrace and trees of oaks. A nice view of the surrounding countryside and ponds. This place is peaceful and relaxing. You can enjoy the covered terrace and the swimming pool to relax or have meals at the barbecue area.
Board games are available to families. A DVD player is at your disposal as well as a hi-fi system.
A large and spacious living room of 50 sqm bright will welcome you sometimes in its dining area sometimes in its lounge area according to your desires.
Night side, two bedrooms (beds 160x200) on the ground floor and a large bedroom on the mezzanine equipped with 4 single beds.
An independent and fully equipped kitchen will allow you to highlight the many regional gastronomic products in Périgord.
Located near the motorway via on one side the Gironde 45 minutes from Saint Emilion and 1h15 from Bordeaux, and on the other side the Perigord, 25 minutes from Perigueux, Bergerac (the city and the hydraulic dam) and 1h15 from Sarlat, La Roque-Gageac, Domme. The chasm of Proumeyssac is 1h.
Very close to the house, you can also visit RIBERAC, MONBAZILLAC (wine tasting), Brantome, Sourzac and Villamblard and canoe-kayak on Isle 5 km from the house.
The market of Saint Astier on Thursday is an invitation to greed with meeting local producers and local products (foie gras for example).
If you wish to organize a bathing day, Lake LaJemaye and its white sand beach is located 20 minutes from the house.

The property was even better than expected. All the rooms were a good size with a huge sitting / dining room. The house was also very well equipped as well as having a lovely bathroom that looks like it’s been done recently. The garden had lots of different areas to sit in and we enjoyed using the pool - our children in particular.. The owner responded to any questions I had almost immediately and was so helpful. M. and Mme. Brunet who manage the property were also so friendly and helpful. Overall we had a super holiday - thank you!

Just returned from a lovely 2 weeks in Mauriac with my husband and 15 year daughter. The accommodation was as described and seemed larger than the photos implied. Lots of space and seating areas. The kitchen is well equipped with all appliances etc very clean and most seemed very new. The key holders Mr and Mrs Brunet were lovely and welcoming (especially when we were expectedly delayed in arriving ). The pool area was great and the pool was well kept and maintained. Neuvic is a 5 minute drive away and has supermarket, bakery restaurants etc. the douzieme heure in Douzillac is a 20min walk away and serves fantastic food. Remember to bring your own bed linen (and that French pillows are square!) tea towels and kitchen gloves and towels. What a great place.

Cette maison est très charmante, bien entretenue et au calme.
L'absence de wifi aurait pu combler le fait que l'on capte extrêmement mal dans toute la maison. Cela a été compliqué de se renseigner sur des activités sans wifi et sans 4G. Mais bien-sûr on s'est débrouillé.
