About this house rental
An authentic wine makers house in the heart of the beautiful village of Roquebrun. The interior is a period delight with its beautiful old tiled floors and marble fireplaces. The property is luminous with high ceilings and elegant tall windows. On the main floor there is a sitting room, a dining room, an open kitchen and two bedrooms. One with an ensuite. There is also a spacious attic, as a third bedroom, with a bathroom. The house has free Wifi and airconditioning
Les Hirondelles has a wonderful south facing front terrace from which there are views of the River Orb, the beach, the vineyards and the hills beyond. Behind the house, adjacent to the kitchen, there is a shaded and partially covered courtyard. Even in the hottest summer months, you will be very happy chilling out here. Beneath the house, at street level, is the old wine-cellar which serves the property as a garage.
Local facilities are close at hand. The bakers’ and a nice restaurant are either side of the property, with a small supermarket, bar and other restaurants a mere walk away.
The sheltered south facing terrace and the heating system affords the opportunity to extend the holiday period outside of the summer season.

Beautiful location and well equipped property. There was a lovely view from the terrace and it was centre of village so easy access to bars, restaurants, river beach and the kayak centre.The only negative was the lack of hospitality. The fridge was empty: no milk, butter, jam.... No fruit or biscuits. Only enough coffee for one cup for 3 people. No washing pods and not even enough pods for one dishwasher cycle per day. No shower cream or shampoo. As a guest, especially if arriving by plane, you can't bring these things with you.Apart from the latter comments, the place was perfect.

Fantastic house in a great location!
The only issue are the motorbikes driving fast in the street, nothing the owner can be blamed for.

Lovely, well equipped property in the beautiful village of Roquebrun. Fantastic location, we had a wonderful 2 week stay with everything we needed, including maps and leaflets. The aircon was heaven sent in the August temperatures we had this year!
The owner, Monique, contacted us when we arrived to check everything was OK and was also easy to contact if we had any issues/questions. Thank you for everything!

Huset er rummeligt, med alt hvad man behøver af bekvemmeligheder for at få en behagelig ferie, perfekt til 6 personer og med en stor terrasse, hvor man har en fantastisk udsigt og kan følge med i livet i Roquebrun. Maison Les Hirondelles ligger centralt men hyggeligt, og der er gå afstand til floden, indkøb, vandreture, vinsmagning, restauranter, cafeer mm. Monique var behjælpelig med gode råd om aktiviteter og var altid til at få fat på. Vi har haft en dejlig ferie med familien og kan varmt anbefale et ophold her.
