Perfect for our needs, close proximity to Bidefordfjr visiting my nephew and family

A very beautiful property in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Very clean and comfortable. Cannot fault anything about this accommodation. A great place if you like to be away from the crowds but close enough to go visiting the places of North Devon. Very helpful and friendly host. Loved the orchard as we were able to let our dog off the lead and have a run around

The Snug at The Pines

The Snug was homely, exceptionally clean and warm. The addition of the games room was a lovely touch and the surrounding grounds were beautiful and wonderfully dog friendly. Chris & Carol were warm, friendly, very accommodating and welcoming. The welcome pack of eggs, milk, bread and a cream tea on arrival was a lovely thought and made us feel at home immediately, so much so we ended up staying another night 😁

There was nothing to dislike about the whole experience and we will be recommending The Pines to our family and friends.

A very enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely week staying at the snug. The cottage was clean, comfortably furnished and well located for touring this area of north Devon. Lots of information about local facilities, places of interest etc provided by the owners Chris and Carol and the welcome pack of bread, milk, cream tea was greatly appreciated. As the name suggests it is however quite a small compact property.

The snug...

Everything was lovely, from arriving and receiving fresh bread a cream tea, apple juice and their own cider. The relaxing gardens, cosy accommodation in a lovely converted barn with great modern facilities and a kitchen with everything you could possibly require.

Everything was great, the only thing which could have improved it is a pub within walking distance (not much they can do about that) and a toaster would be convenient.

High standard of furniture and fittings, king size bed so comfy, everything spotlessly clean. Grounds beautiful. Owners Chris and Carol so welcoming. Surrounded by beautiful countryside 2/3 miles fromBideford/Instow. Easy to get to most places. Welcomed with homemade bread, fresh farm eggs, clotted cream tea, milk etc., so thoughtful.

self catering welcome parcel very useful and just what we needed. The Snug was compact and was exactly what we needed.
