About this house rental
Modern furnished holiday home (completion 2011, renovated in 2019) with stunning views of the mountains, on a 4. 500 m² fenced area, in the middle of the extensive and green riverbed of the Posada River in the outskirts of Torpé, a small town (3,000 inhabitants) near Posada (4 km) and La Caletta (11 km). If you are not looking for the hustle and bustle but the peace, is right here, because it is a country house, where you can unwind undisturbed relax and unwind. But also as a starting point for excursions, the house is very conveniently located. The nearest beach (Orvile) is about 5 minutes by car, to La Caletta about 10 minutes. But it also invites to hikes in the mountains to the Lago di Posada.
The holiday home is furnished like a studio (40 m²) with open American kitchen, dining area, sofa area. A separate, for Italian conditions very spacious bedroom (16 m²) for two persons and a comfortable sofa bed (by a simple handle, the couch is folded out to bed and umgekeht, bedding can be folded) for 2 people provide total sleeping space for 4 people. The bathroom is also bright and spacious with shower, bath, bidet, toilet, sink and a washing machine.
An air conditioning system ensures a pleasant room temperature. A large flatscreen offers TV fun for the entire room (Terrestrial Programs Italy, SAT Astra). The TV is (if the bedroom door remains open) also from the bed well to see (z. B. when occupied by two people).
The large kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove (5 rings), oven with grill, extractor, fridge and freezer, dishwasher. Pots, cooking utensils, dishes and glasses etc. are also sufficiently available. There is also a fireplace grill in the outdoor area.
Almost around the entire house there is a covered terrace, the protection from the sun offers and with seating and bistro tables invites you to linger.
Parking is available for free. Also, the parking of a camping vehicle (motorhome, caravan) is possible and power connections are available. So the house can serve as a base for excursions. Public transport (bus to Olbia (40 km) and the airport) are available from Torpé (about 15 minutes walk). A car is definitely an advantage.
The outdoor water supply of Torpé is fed from Lake Posada. Of course, filters for cleaning are installed. Since the water is not chlorinated, yellowing may occur in summer. For personal hygiene, for washing and rinsing, the water is harmless to use (we also use it for cooking).
Pets such. Small dogs are welcome and have great opportunities for spotting on the extensive grounds, with its numerous olive and citrus trees.

From Olbia it takes about 30 minutes for the 40 km (also from the airport) on the highway. Ideal for motorcyclists, since nobody is disturbed and there are no direct neighbors, but fields and meadows. Parking is available at the house sufficiently free of charge. The entire area is fenced.

Mein Mann und ich genossen unseren Aufenthalt in dem roten Häuschen auf dem Land sehr! Das Ferienhaus befindet sich mitten im Grünen in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich das kleine, verschlafene Torpè - abseits vom touristischen Leben. Das reizvolle Posada in der Nähe vom Meer ist in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Das Haus ist modern-geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super ausgestattet - Klimaanlage, Mikrowelle, Waschmaschine,... - alles funktionierte einwandfrei!
Die Kommunikation mit unserem zuvorkommenden Gastgeber war für uns schon im Vorhinein ein Geschenk, da er uns mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps für unseren Urlaub auf Sardinien versorgte. Der Check-In und das Auschecken vor Ort liefen reibungslos. Wir sind sehr dankbar für die wunderschöne Zeit und können dieses bezaubernde Ferienhäuschen sehr weiterempfehlen!

Abitazione perfetta, siamo stati 15gg io compagno e bimba di un anno con tre cani. Presenti tutti i confort, pulizia ottima, giardino enorme e comodo. Proprietario genrilissimo; grande disponibilità, professionalità e gentilezza da parte della Signora che gestisce la casa. Posizione a 5-10 minuti d'auto dalle spiagge di Posada, 5 minuti dal paese, splendido tra l'altro e seppure piccolo con presenza di tutti i servizi. Consiglio assolutamente per vacanza con bimbi e anche con cani. Torneremo sicuramente

Stayed at the property for 2 weeks from beginning of September. When we first arrived we were disappointed as the villa looked run down/ tatty. The grass around the edge of the villa is long and needs cutting, the villa has paint peeling and is patchy needs re-painting. To the rear of the villa is a mess with an old door frame and building materials/ tools stacked against the property.. The grounds need sorting out as overgrown.Inside was a little better but again needs attention, door frame hanging off , toilet seat loose and door handle falling off which I fixed.The whole place Needs TLC ! Doesn’t look as nice as it does in the pictures in the advert.The other niggle is rubbish is not collected and you have to store it onsite. Water is stored in a tank around the rear of the villa and you have to keep checking it so you can contact the owner to arrange for it to be replenished.Needs a good spring clean inside and out to clear all the cob webs that look like they have been there for years! Having said that it’s in a great location perfect for beaches and amenities. A car is a must . No check in as key is left under a cushion on one of the outside chairs. Overall if all the problems/ issues were resolved it would be a nice place and would definitely book again.
