The place has a very good location. It was very clean and cleaned perfectly! Very effective air con. I could check in a hour before normal time. Nothing wrong with the room overall.

I think overall it was an okay stay-but some things to consider. It’s pricy for what you get- I’ve stayed other good places in Tropea for much less. This is not the host’s fault, but there is a dog living on the street, who barks all night- so bring earplugs! When booking the room, you will be taken to another payment site than booking.com- the site kept saying error or nothing happened on the site, when I tried to pay. I also shortly wondered if it was safe to use. I had to text the host about the payment and if it had gone through, because it said error many times- which was a bit stressfull as it was a last minute booking. It was only, when I was standing in front of the building the host would give me check in info. I’m a traveller and are very used to hosts sending this info the day before or in the morning on the day. As a traveller it’s nice to have this info beforehand so you don’t have to navigate luggage in 35 degrees, fatigue from travelling and then live communicating with host standing in front of the door. That being said, the host was friendly and gave clear info- but it would have been nice to have this beforehand. My “view” from the room was a window with a backalley- a bit sad, to be honest- again if I had payed less, maybe I wouldn’t have thought about this. But the price gives certain expectations.

Superbra läge, nära allt, gågatan runt hörnet och trevlig promenaavstånd till strand. Ligger ändå avskilt så det är lugnt och tyst om kvällarna. Fina och fräscha rum. Bra AC när det väl fungerade. Smidigt att checka-in och ut, vi anlände rätt sent men man fick en kod för att ta sig in i rummen. Vi fick bara ett hotellkort pr rum för att komma in i rummen, men de var snabba med att leverera ett par till på förfrågan.

Vi missade att frukosten var "italy stile", det vill säga en söt croissant och en kaffe. Vi fick leta efter frukostställe varje morgon för att få ordentligt med mat, det gick inte att ordna frukost i rummet då det var tajt med utrymme, inga bord och stolar att sitta på, inget pentry heller, det var mer ett hotellrum. Frukoststället hotellet samarbetade med låg inte i närheten heller, man fick gå en cirka 3-4 min promenad. Nästa gång är det bättre att välja ett boende som erbjuder riktig frukost eller möjlighet att tillaga egen frukost i rummet. Betyget på boende dras ner pga att AC'n inte fungerade på 3 dagar, när man bara är där en vecka är 3 dagar rätt mycket och vi fick två helvetesnätter utan AC eller luft. Hotellet kunde inte erbjuda andra rum pga fulltbokat och kunde inte heller erbjuda portabla AC trots tillfrågan, vi fick nöja oss med en fläkt (!), fläkten hjälpte inte så mycket, det var ju en ugn i rummet. Vi fick sova med öppna fönster och hade fläkten på fönstret för att den skulle blåsa in något kyligare luft. När vi påpekade att två nätter var förstörda pga värmen erbjöd dem ingen kompensation, nada, istället fick vi ha överseende med att "sånt händer". Vi påpekade att det ligger på hotellets ansvar att vara förbereda för "sånt". Vi hade då inte betalat än 64€ för turistskatt, något vi tyckte de kunde stå för som kompensation, men de resonerade att turistskatten inte gick till dem. Vi tyckte att de kunde ha betalat detta för oss som kompensation. Vi fick betala för att inte bråka mer och spara vår energi, ej värd att fortsätta bråka.
