Perfect for exploring Portrush

Spacious apartment in the perfect location right across from the train station, communication with the host was brilliant and she let us drop our bags off early. There was an issue with the shower but it was sorted quickly, thankyou!

We couldnt get the heating to work. I text the host and did get a reply however it was late in the evening before we got the heating on.

Shower tray v.slow to empty, needed to turn water off during shower in case it over flowed. Shower door broken. Pull-out bed broken. Remote for t.v not working.

I would not recommend this property.

Nothing

We had booked the property for two elderly frail relatives,2 children and their mother. From arriving it was clear the property wasn’t as advertised. It was grubby, cups and cutlery had to be washed before use due to stains it seems from the previous tenants. There was foodstuff in the drawers and a bad odour in one of the bedrooms.The floorboards were loose which potentially in our opinion could lead to falls/accidents particularly with the elderly.The bathroom has mould in it.The main window in the apartment looks out onto a collection of large bins which was not clear in the pictures on booking.com. Indeed the owner text to say don’t open the blinds in the living room. We acknowledge that the owner believes the property was cleaned but this was not the case and provided photos to support that. The owner offered us a ground floor apartment but we did not need it, just one which in our opinion was clean, safe and as advertised in booking.com

The hosts let us check in early and check out late. The other apartment residents were lovely. The towels were clean and great heating and hot water. Tea and coffee facilitates too.

The sofa bed didnt have a duvet and when extended the modular bit moved away from sofa. The dishwasher had stagnant water in it.

Miserable, sleepless night.

No extra bedclothes and no travel cot as promised. I complained to the owner who said the extra bedlinen was there but it most definitely was not. Also the noise from the apartment above was ridiculous.

it was a self board apartment located approx 40 steps from a nice bar which served breakfast lunch and dinner. great spot.

The pull out sofa bed in the living room was the only down side, although being that there where 6 of us in total, a sofa bed was really the only feasible option that the apartment owners could have put there to make use of the space. cant fault that really.

love as it was close to the town but wasn’t worth the price we paid!

the apartment was a good size for us to decorate and was very homely looking mostly the living area. the beds were comfy to sleep in. was a great location close to the town and train station

one of the bedroom door handles was a tad loose whenever we arrived. the sofa bed had rips it in which was the second thing I notice when we arrived also the view isn’t as what it’s advertised as it was a backend of an messy alleyway which was very disappointing when looking out of the window so we kept the curtain’s closed. Plus the noise levels from the other flats were distributing everyone’s sleep!
