About this house rental
A 45 km from the beaches and the ocean, we propose to relax in this house end 18th with 3 fireplaces, a stone paving, bread oven, its sunny garden and whose ground floor is accessible to disabled people .
We have lovingly restored, decorated with care (the old coexists with modern design furniture and mottled).
Ideally located in a hamlet very quiet and preserved in the heart of Roman Saintonge and the vineyards of Charente, close to beautiful historic towns.
Large spaces will be at your disposal and it will be possible to visit a distillery-museum of cognac still in activity and participate in a tasting.
Opportunity to buy Pineau and Cognac on site.
There is in front of the house (expo South) a fenced garden of approx 50 m2 perfect for dining (table for 12 people + deck chairs) and rest.
At the back, there is an open courtyard. At 60 m from the cottage, we provide a very large garden (semi closed) to play football or play outdoor games.
The street in front of the house is not busy even in the summer.
The cottage can accommodate 10 people in 4 bedrooms:
-1 bedroom in the DRC with 2 beds of 90
-1 bedroom on the 1st floor with 1 bed of 160 and 2 beds of 70 (not counted in the total capacity of the cottage because those are beds of 70 wrought iron but they are used for teenagers for example).
-1 bedroom on the 1st floor with 1 bed of 140
-1 bedroom on the 1st with 1 bed of 160 and 2 beds of 90.
There is no Wifi / Internet.
For the spring and autumn periods, we request an EDF participation of 0.1 € Kw / h (with meter reading on arrival and departure)

maison qui a le charme de l'ancien

We hebben heel erg genoten van ons verblijf. We werden warm onthaald en meerdere keren werd ons gevraagd of alles naar wens was.
Door enkele scheuren in het gebouw door een aardbeving enkele jaren terug, hadden we nu en dan spinachtigen op bezoek.
Het huis ligt heel rustig gelegen. De grote tuin wat verder in de straat is aangenaam vertoeven. Het zou wel nog aangenamer geweest zijn mocht er iets meer plaats geweest zijn rond het huis om samen te ontbijten of te dineren.

Nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour dans cette grande maison charentaise. Les chambres sont immenses, la décoration est splendide, le feu de cheminée a réchauffé notre Noël et la cuisine est une belle pièce en pierres où il fait bon vivre. Maison en pleine campagne que nous recommandons chaudement pour un séjour calme au milieu de la nature ou pour des retrouvailles entre amis!

Le gîte était bien propre à l'arrivée. Gîte très confortable et spacieux. Commerces à proximité. Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires. Nous avons apprécié la visite de la distillerie. Le petit jardin est agréable. Gîte bien situé car nous avons, en effet, pu visiter La Rochelle, Saintes, Rochefort, l'île de Ré, l'île d'Aix, l'île d'Oléron et Cognac.
