Perfect way to spend hogmanay and great for a wee get-away.

The accommodation was excellent, exactly as described. Cozy and comfortable, beautiful sea view, nice lawn area and plenty of amenities. Short walk to the village and 10 minutes walk to the lovely cove beach. The owner was welcoming and helpful.

A little treasure just over the Scottish border.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the very friendly hosts and shown to our accommodation. I don't really write reviews but this place definately deserves a good review. The area was tranquil and very peaceful with sea views and plenty to do if you have a car or cycles. The site is very well kept,tidy,quiet and you have your own private space which was so nice. The tiny house itself was just amazing,very well built and at no expense spared,it was a lot more spacious then we expected and the Interior literally catered for everything,very well equipped with all the essentials and luxuries you could need. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to cook meals,breakfast etc. Living area was very cosey with tv ,radiator and amazing views. The bedroom area was also very cosey and also had a tv which we loved and the bed linen was off very high quality 👌 The outside area also contained seating,table and outside fire pit/bbq. The best was waking up early and seeing the sun rise above the sea and coast 😀🫶😁 Thank you again and we will be back and will recommend to all friends and family.

It was self-catering and the kitchenette was very well equipped.

The written instructions on how to get to the location were not precise enough. My Dutch satnav couldn't find the address, not even from the postcode. A sketchmap would have been useful

A great weekend

The accomadtion was very cute and spotlessly clean. Everything you needed was provided despite the small space. Some lovely personal touches. Comfy bed, full sized bathroom. Fantastic views. Outside seating with firepit and bbq. Fuel was provided. The host was welcoming and friendly. The site was very well maintained.

The composting toilet took a little getting used to.

The shepherds hut, grounds and views were fantastic - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Incredibly friendly and welcoming owners, even offering to pick us up from a wedding we attended in Eyemouth. Would 100% recommend.

The location was excellent for activities that I wanted to do. The facilities were more than what you would expect for a Shepherds Hut. Brilliant shower, full sized fridge. The tabletop oven meant that I was able to cook proper meals, not just take out food.

Was a great little break and an excellent walk to St Abbs and Eyemouth.

The tiny house was lovely and had everything we needed for cooking bbq and cleaning products etc. Had a lovely outside area with views of the sea. 10 minute walk from the village for shops and went to the local pub for our tea, and a good bus service from Eyemouth/Berwick The owner was so helpful picking us up from Reston station.

Great stay away

Wonderful little hut, bijou, well designed, warm and comfortable. Dubious of ‘dry toilet’ , but it works well and created no drama. Andrew proved to be a good host. I’m sure it’s siting will continue to improve as the Landscape surrounding it matures….. Glad we found the ‘ Hawthorn’s shepherds hut’

What a place

The place is immaculate and the photos are exactly as you find it, outstanding shepherds hut with everything you need and an excellent use of limited space, the place itself is so peaceful and calm and the views are stunning, not far from local shops and pubs one with a restaurant, a very enjoyable stay and will definitely return, owner is a very friendly bloke and his hard work is there for all to see

A beautiful place with a spectacular view

What a beautiful stay we had here. It was just perfect, absolutely nothing bad we could say about it. I don't think you could ever get bored of the view, spotless accommodation with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay and it is so tranquil. There are two pubs just a short walk away and a shop. Would highly recommend a trip down to Coldingham Bay beach, it is absolutely stunning. Eyemouth is close with nice places to drink and eat. Would more than recommend staying here.

Perfect escape in a cute and cosy Shepherd's hut.

Just loved the Shepherd's hut. It is so cosy, clean, amazingly well equipped and everything about it is just right. The view of the sea from inside and from the garden is lovely. Easy to walk into the village and short drive to Eyemouth, Berwick and St Abbs. Great hosts - hope to return 😁
