Completely renovated 18-room Louis XIII-style chateau (sleeps 38)

Hired the chateau with 30 friends who have not seen each other in a long time. This was one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at; I honestly never thought I'd stay somewhere as grand. The communication was great and the photos don't do it justice. All the rooms are ensuite and there's a lot of social space for everyone. The hardest bit was getting everyone together in one place! Thank you for a lovely stay :)

This is a beautiful chateau and we loved our time here. The bedrooms are all very spacious and comfortable and the communal areas work perfectly for a group gathering. The swimming pool is a wonderful feature. I highly recommend the property. We have rented many chateau over the years in France and this is one of our favorite.

The chateau was spotlessly clean and perfect for a weekend reunion with friends. All 18 (ensuite) bedrooms were made up beautifully with towels and shower gel left for each guest. Communication with the property owner/manager was ok however I thought I would leave the following notes for anyone looking to hire the property in the future. - There are both coffee filter and pod machines available in the chateau (many of the bedrooms have coffee pod machines I them too!) - The chateau is well equipped with a large number of glasses, crockery, serving dishes etc. There are two fridges in the kitchen and a family-size cooker/hob area. The kitchen is small - we were glad we had organised local caterer Caroline Board (Toc Toques/Natnes) to prepare dinners in her catering kitchen close by and deliver the food warm to us. Don't miss out on Caroline's food - it is incredible! - There is a food storage/prep area in -1 of the chateau that you can park outside of and unload groceries. In this room there are two large fridges also. The elevator is useful for moving groceries between this area and the kitchen on the ground floor. - Wi-Fi was unavailable to us during our stay (Fri-Monday) which meant we all really switched off however if this is important to you/your group it would be worth checking with the property - Check in was a more pleasant experience than check-out - make sure to leave time for the property manager to check every room as you wait to leave! He was unhappy that the windows were left open in many of the bedrooms (they had not advised to close them) - so worth noting! - Huge E.Leclerc and UDrive located close by. We completed a click and collect order from UDrive Segre 5 days before arrival. The staff couldn't have been more helpful with this and had everything ready for pick up (including substitute items if things were out of stock). - Domestic waste can be disposed of on site however you will be required to bring all other waste (bottles, cans, cardboard) to a recycling centre in the local village. Luckily we had two cars to keep on top of this but it is a consideration to keep in mind! - The pool and the area surrounding is beautifully kept and was an amazing addition to our weekend of blue skies and warm sunshine. The chateau grounds are gorgeous with peacocks roaming around and farm animals located a few steps from the chateau. A great place to relax with friends. Thanks René!
