Comfortable, clean, quiet and staff were great.
7.0 / 10.0
The hostel has a great location and the beds are comfortable, making it an easy and convenient base for exploring the city. It’s also very easy to meet other travellers here. Overall, it feels like a safe and straightforward option for travellers who want a reliable place to stay while exploring cdmx.
Despite its stylish aesthetic, the hostel seems to prioritise appearance over service and attention to detail.
The breakfast is very basic considering the price, and one morning there was practically no breakfast because they had run out of key components like fruit, which was disappointing.
The pillows were the worst I encountered in Mexico — when I asked for a replacement or even a second pillow, management simply shrugged and said, “they’re all the same,” which felt unacceptable for a premium hostel.
During a water outage, there was no backup plan (such as providing water gallons to flush toilets), which led to an embarrassing and unhygienic situation for a sick guest in our room.
Overall, management seemed focused on maximising profits rather than investing in the small details that make a big difference, and
while the hostel is safe and easy, it isn’t necessarily the best value option.

Great hostel, I loved the top-floor communal space that got a LOT of sunlight. Everything was very clean. They have a various line-up of activities everyday, and a group chat you can join if you wish, so it is great for connecting with others to do things with. I was in a smaller room of 4 and never had any trouble with sound/queues/tidiness. It is in a nice leafy area of Condesa, easy to get to places by Uber or a the subway station is a short walk away.

I liked that it was mostly women travelers here and the aesthetic was lovely with all the planets and the yummy granola at breakfast.
The grey haired male manager was awful. He didn’t smile or even nod in acknowledgement of my existence my entire stay. This gave the distinct impression that he was trying to be hostile and unwelcoming. If you can’t do the small social things necessary to make guests feel welcome then you shouldn’t be in hospitality. I was also extremely concerned when I witnessed him on more than one occasion speaking incessantly for hours to the young female staff. It was not a conversation. They politely listened to his verbal torrent but considering he never stopped to see if they had anything to say in return I have to assume that they were listening because they had no other choice in the power dynamic. The manager needs to be replaced and then this place would be much more healthy, safe, and welcoming.

Amazing location and breakfast! Met some lovely people here and the staff were so friendly. Everything was very clean too. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting CDMX
That I had to leave!

Super chilled vibe but social enough to meet new people too.

Honestly, one of the best hostels I stayed at.
The location is super.
Everything clean.
Staff is amazing. Big thanks here
Breakfast is good.
The comunal space, activities and group chat are perfect to connect with other travellers.
Was hard to leave.
Just keep in mind, everything is reachable by stairs, which I didn't mind

It’s a very nice place to stay in a very nice neighborhood. I got a great recommendation for an authentic Mexican taco store just down the street. This neighborhood feels like a residential area so it was tidy up and calm.
If there is 1 point that I did not liked it was that you don’t get the vibe of a hostel. The community area doesn’t invite you to stay and there is no bar (place where they sell drinks).

The hostel is super clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the bulk beds are well equiped and very comfy. Location is excellent as well.

Great location, clean facilities
Very noisy room facing the street level
Wifi didn’t work in the room

Beautiful property with cozy and private beds in the dorms, great location to enjoy La Condesa and Chapultapec Park! The staff was also very helpful. Excellent wifi. I didn't take advantage of the activities but they offered many options. Price is higher than any hostel I've stayed at before but I can't fault the quality!
The available breakfast was pretty limited (toast, granola, 2-3 typical fruits), but it's good if you just want a little something in your stomach before you go explore. You can also just cook your own meals with your own groceries (they have pans, oils, etc.).

Very cool place. Location is good. The staff was very friendly.
Our room was a bit noisy because there is a very heavy street nearby.

Perfect location, very nice and helpful staff and enough privacy in the room.
My compartment had a slightly stale smell. Breakfast was good, I just missed a salty option.

Beautiful communal spaces
Yoga mats free for use
Excellent location in a trendy and safe part of the city
Friendly other guests
Comfortable beds, nice bedding and towel free
Privacy in the dorm pods
Firstly, although she was kind after a while, the receptionist was quite slow and wasn’t very welcoming. She took a long time to open the front door when we arrived when we were waiting in the rain - no sense of urgency. Then she was slow checking us in, again no sense of wanting to get the process done as soon as possible. It was late, we had our backpacks on still just standing there waiting a while, when we just wanted to get into our rooms as soon as possible to rest. This wasn’t the best first impression.
Secondly, there could have been more communal toilets. I didn’t feel comfortable always using the toilet since it was in the dorm room right opposite the bunks - less than a metre away. It wasn’t a good place. There was one communal toilet but it was upstairs and in the communal living area / kitchen. Again, not discrete.
Also the bins in the toilets in dorms were not cleaned regularly enough.

Loved the atmosphere and decor of this place - probably one of the best hostels I’ve stayed! Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were great and location was very convenient. Only stayed a couple nights but wish I could have stayed more. Not a party hostel at all but still social and friendly vibes. The breakfast was simple but enough - toast, yoghurt, muesli.
Bunk beds get quite hot and stuff as there’s no aircon. They give a little fan but it’s still quite hot

How clean everything was, how on top of everything the cleaning staff was. How mature and polite all the other hostelers were. Lots of hang out space. The whats app group where we could talk about events and meeting up
Not being able to flush toilet paper.

This place is great! Super nice facilities. Clean. High end hostel. Amazing location. Friendly staff. Kitchen.
I didn’t sleep good because the temperature of the rooms was hot and the noise. The windows were open and street noise is heard through ear plugs. This place would benefit from installing air conditioning so that noise is reduced from street traffic by closing the windows and regulating the temperature.

Cozy, comfortable, clean and close to everything.
In the mixed dorms, there is no area to get dressed in order to have a little privacy. I got dressed just hoping nobody would open the door. 🫣

Casa Pancha is great. Clean rooms, two shared spaces, great breakfast. Easy access to many restaurants and cafes by foot. Safe.
The women’s shared bedroom has an odd division, where the toilet and shower divide the room. Four beds before and four beds after. The street right outside the window is very loud (due to cars) all night long. Not for the light sleeper!

Clean, nice neighbourhood, near a metro, relaxed vibe, activities if you wanted, breakfast.
Wish breakfast was a little more flexible due to day trips it was missed a number of times. No other issues…

The bathrooms were in a kind or awkward spot and were small.

I liked the atmosphere of the place and that it was in a great area. I met a lot of people there and the vibe was really good. It was good to have free coffee throughout the day and breakfast in the morning. The staff were also very helpful and it made my stay enjoyable. I would recommend it!
I didn’t know how many people were going to be in the dorm before I booked it. Although it was a comfortable and clean space, it turned out there were 10 people in the dorm so sometimes it was loud with different people having different schedules…also I’m 6 ft tall so the beds were a bit short for me. It was in the pricier side considering it was a 10 person dorm.

- Super nice and friendly atmosphere - staff and people are open and welcoming. Casa Pancha offers a great variety of tours and events and supports you when you have questions.
- loved the kitchen from which you have a nice view and can relax with a cup of coffee or tea
- dorms are super well organized and equipped, you’ll get lots of privacy for a dorm
- Cleanliness is top level
- Breakfast ist great
Nothing really, maybe the bathrooms could use an extra door towards the dorms but it didn’t bother me much. People were respectful and considerative

This is a beautiful hostel with a minimalist, earthy design. We had a room with a window that opened out to the street (not so common in Mexican accommodations, we found), which was good for us to get some fresh air and it wasn't too loud, even though there is a busy street nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a common kitchen that was so great to have access to, and the breakfast provided was simple, but worked for us. It seems to attract digital nomad types, but there were also a few backpackers (who were more interested in socializing). The location is pretty good - a little on the outskirts of La Condesa, but easy enough to walk to the center of activity. We enjoyed staying here.
Our experience was mostly positive. I suppose I would have liked there to be more shared (and included) activities - I'm comparing to another hostel that did this. For instance, walking tours, Spanish classes, game nights, food tours, and outings to hear live music. All of those were included in the price (just gave tips) for the other hostel I'm comparing with. The price was a bit higher than I normally pay, but decent for the area.

I loved the staff - very kind and helpful. Emmanuel and Christina were especially lovely.
The hot water wasn't working the last few days I was there. Also, there were some girls who were talking loudly very early in the morning and woke me up. Would be nice if the quiet hours could be reminded to guests upon arrival.

A very comfortable, clean hostel in La Condesa. This was the first place I stayed in Mexico, and so I thought I would splurge a bit. The beds are comfortable and the bed screens offer good privacy. The breakfast in the morning is good (Oats, yogurt, fruit, toast) and good coffee is complementary all day. This is a good hostel for working remotely. Restaurants and the La Roma neighborhood are a close walk. I met some good people and the hostel hosts some fun events. I cannot praise the staff more, especially Guadalupe who helped me out more times that I can say. Thank you!
In the room "Fermin", there is only one toilet and one shower for 8 people. They, along with the sinks, are very close to some beds, so there was not too much privacy in that situation. Other rooms have better arrangements and more toilets/showers. There are other toilets throughout the hostel though which fixed the issue.

The hostel is in a superb location in the Condesa district of Mexico City. It is modern and clean. The staff were very helpful. The dorm beds were private and were more like individual pods. There is a comfortable sitting area. The restaurant high in the building is light with a superb view. The breakfasts were excellent, with fresh fruit, usually mango; home made muesli; yogurt; toast; jam and good coffee. The volunteers were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the family dinner and helping with the prep. One of the best hostels that I have ever stayed in.
one needed to know how to operate the showers to get warm water out of them.

Fabulous bougie hostel in the middle of La Condesa, perfect for digi nomads and solo travellers. The hostel organises tons of great activities, plus it was super easy to relax by yourself if you prefer. The bunks are modern and big, with extra storage and good lighting. The showers in the rooms work well and it was nice and quiet at night. The breakfast is great and all the communal spaces are well kept and enjoyable, with a really sociable atmosphere.
The bunks are really sealed in, so on warmer nights there's no airflow - there are fans available from reception though.

- good location in a nice area (condesa)
- many restaurants and bars nearby, but it’s very quiet
- it’s very clean (I think it’s the cleanest hostel I‘ve ever been)
- shampoo and shower gel is provided
- the common rooms are very bright and it’s a very positive vibe
- the staff and volunteers are super friendly
- they have activities every day, but it’s not a party hostel (activities are more like yoga, soundbaths and so on)
- you can book tours at the reception
- the beds were comfortable and the curtains great (when you closed them, it was completely dark)
- kitchen was fully equipped & breakfast was good (bread, butter, jam, joghurt, fruits, cereals, coffee/tea, water)
everything was great

The location is the best part about the place. Safe and vibrant neighborhood.
The rooms and restroom are clean.
Check in and check out went smoothly.
Staff are friendly.
Breakfast is not very good and is often just fruits/cereal. A standard breakfast with eggs would be appreciated. Also, presentation matters.
No drinking water on each floor. We have to go to the terrace area for water.
Beds are not made on request. Only done once a week or after checkout.
Rooms can get hot, but they may have a fan in the reception area though nobody informed us about that.
