Amazing Gifft Hill Villa! Villa Mangaade is a delightful Caribbean home with panoramic water views of the Pillsbury Sound and St. Thomas. The evenings provide spectacular sunset views and at night you will enjoy the twinkling lights of St. Thomas. The villa, built by Tom Bertolino, features beautiful St. John stonework, dramatic vaulted ceilings and Schnell lighting.
This spacious 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom villa is your idyllic island home. The villa has all the comforts of of home--AC in the great room and all bedrooms, WiFi, Cable TV in loft and at the pool bar, Smart TVs in all 3 bedrooms and safes for your valuables, washer and dryer, and hair dryers. The villa also has lovely island amenities such as outdoor showers and 7 different outdoor living spaces. The villa is rented for groups up to 6 people.
The dramatic floor to ceiling sliding doors, that run across the entire width of the main floor, provide breathtaking water views. Open the doors to enjoy the soothing trade-winds and step onto the large balcony to have your morning coffee in the relaxing rocking chairs. The fully equipped and newly remodeled galley kitchen opens up to an outdoor dining patio with a convenient gas BBQ grill and table.
The large lap pool, outdoor bar, private sun deck and hanging hammock chairs will make your day at the villa fun and memorable. You may even spot an iguana or two!
Villa Mangaade, which means Mango Lane, is located on Gifft Hill, about 600 feet above sea level. It is a quick 7 minute drive to Cruz Bay town. We look forward to hosting you and sharing our piece of paradise!
We love our island and are powered by the sun with a state of the art solar system! The local power company, WAPA, is extremely unreliable and brown outs and black outs happen daily. You will never lose power at Villa Mangaade!

Gorgeous property with everything we could have needed! The pool was fantastic. The property manager was extremely responsive. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to relax and enjoy ourselves. Our only issue was finding the property on the dark, as the location I was sent was incorrect, but the property manager helped us find it.. If this is your first time to St John, I would recommend finding the place before dark because the roads are crazy steep and winding. Otherwise, a perfect home in a fantastic place!

We loved our stay at Villa Mangaade. The home is beautiful and very-well stocked (especially the kitchen). The view is gorgeous. Monic, the house manager, was welcoming, kind, and very responsive. We very much appreciated having solar — as there were many power outages on the island while we were there, but we were not impacted. We definitely recommend St. John and Villa Mangaade!

My family of 4, including our 2 boys ages 22 and 19, had an amazing time at this villa! Was the perfect layout for all to have plenty of space, clean & nicely decorated, short drive to Cruz Bay, awesome view, all the essentials provided, and Monic (property manager) was very responsive and checked in with us. We very much appreciated Monic surprising us with pool noodles! Villa Mangaade was the perfect home away from home, and we would definitely rent again!

Villa Mangaade is literally heaven on Earth. This home is stunning. It is decorated beautifully and it appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing and amazing stay for the week. My husband and I spent 7 fantastic days here celebrating our 30th anniversary. We spent each day exploring the island and returned here each late afternoon for drinks and relaxing by the pool. The home was so comfortable and pictures are accurate. The house is well maintained, beds and so comfortable. We woke up rested each day.Monic was so sweet and her hospitality was wonderful. She met us at the house to show us around. We appreciated that she stocked our groceries for the first night so we could relax after a day of travel to the island. She also gave us some amazing tips of things to see and do. Windmill Bar at sunset was a real treat! Many thanks for a perfect week in paradise. We will definitely be returning someday and we've been telling all of our friends to check out Villa Mangaade! Blessings!
