About this house rental
This charming and lavishly restored townhouse is located in the original part of La Garde Freinet, in the Gulf of Saint Tropez. La Garde Freinet is a very beautiful Provençal mountain village with all the amenities of your daily needs and only 20 minutes drive to the wonderful sandy beaches of Saint Tropez and the lively life there. One of the beaches is the plage de pampelonne with crystal clear waters and the legendary Le club 55.
Stroll through the quirky and noisy Saint Tropez during the day and return to your holiday home in the evening. You will know how to enjoy the tranquility there.
Your holiday home is as follows:
The generously designed ground floor consists of an open French kitchen with a large and comfortable dining table. Here you can cook and spend pleasant hours with your family or guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities, like
Refrigerator with freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, Illy coffee and expresso machine.
From the ground floor, a filigree spiral staircase leads to the first floor.
There is a bright bedroom with double bed, (1.80 * 2.00 meters).
Furthermore, a small friendly bedroom with bunk beds for two persons (0.90 * 2.00 meters).
Furthermore, there is a nice and cozy living room with sofa bed and a screen separated. It is not a closed room.
Also on this level is the bathroom with bath and integrated shower and a toilet. A heated towel rail and enough storage space complete the offer.
Finally, on the first floor, you will find a large French fitted wardrobe, where you can easily stow all your belongings.
On the top floor you will find a very beautiful and sun-drenched living room with open fireplace and an adjoining glass front to the roof terrace. Here you can fully enjoy the character of the stone house. From the windows you can see the summit cross of La Garde Freinet.
From the roof terrace you have a fantastic distant view of the mountain landscape of La Garde Freinet, the Maures massif, to the snow-capped mountains.
Here you can spend romantic moments with nice food or wine. Enjoy the wonderful starry sky from here or watch the sunrise with a petit dejeuner.
Just read a book and let your mind wander or sunbathe. Terrace furniture is available. And do not forget your sunscreen!

It is located near the forest edge. There are countless hiking and mountain bike trails from there.
From here you can also hike to the Roches Blanches, with its glowing quartz abyss above the village overlooking the gulf of St Tropez.
From there you can see the Mediterranean shimmering in the distance.
Public, free parking is available.

Ein sehr hübsches Haus. Wir haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Insbesondere der Blick von der kleinen Dachterrasse ist wunderschön!

Wir waren zwei Wochen zu Gast bei Frau N. und wir haben uns die ganze Zeit ausgesprochen wohlgefühlt. Alles war stimmig, von der Kommunikation mit der überaus herzigen Gastgeberin, über die Buchung, die Hausübergabe und die liebevolle Betreuung vor Ort. Das Haus hat eindeutig unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Es ist ausgesprochen liebevoll und exklusiv eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es fehlt absolut an nichts. Fantastisch nach einer anstrengenden Reise frisch überzogene und bequeme Betten vorzufinden. Die Dachterrass mit ihrem Blick in die Weite ist ein Traum, das angrenzende Wohnzimmer ein faszinierender Raum. Die Küche traumhaft. Alle Zimmer sind sehr ansprechend. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt. Ruhig am Waldrand gelegen und dennoch absolut zentral. In nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreicht man alles was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigt. Bäckereien, Supermärkte, den Wochenmarkt, Weinhandlung, jede Menge köstliche Restaurants, schöne Geschäfte. Herrlich das Auto dafür nicht zu benötigen. La Garde Freinet ist ein wunderbarer typisch südfranzösische Ort, zum verlieben. Wir haben schöne Wanderungen unternommen und waren täglich mit dem Auto in 20 Minuten an den traumhaften Stränden von Saint Tropez und Ramatuelle. Tausend Dank für die tolle Zeit, der nächste Urlaub ist dort bereits wieder gebucht.

Wir ( 3 Erwachsene und 2 Labradore) waren 2 Wochen Ende Oktober/Anfang November in diesem wunderbaren Haus, in dem und um das herum von vorne bis hinten und oben bis unten für uns einfach alles stimmte :-) . Da war zunächst von Anfang an die gute und klare Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin, Frau Silke Neumann. Alle Infos kamen rechtzeitig, Nachfragen waren nicht erforderlich, Telefonate waren immer möglich und der freundliche Umgang war sehr angenehm. Das Haus selber liegt am Rande von La Garde-Freinet mit fast unmittelbarem Zugang zum Wald, für Hunde und Menschen traumhaft. Das Dorfzentrum ist innerhalb von 2 Min (von der Haustür aus rechts runter) zu Fuß zu erreichen. Kleine Geschäfte, 2 Supermärkte, Kneipen, Restaurants, unser aller Lieblingsbäcker, der uns zeigte, wie Croissants gemacht werden ;-), ein Bankautomat .... alles vorhanden. Die Menschen waren (Saisonende) entspannt und jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit. Im Haus fehlte es an nichts. Kochen, backen, Wäsche waschen und trocknen, auf der Dachterrasse ausruhen, in der Sonne sitzen, mit Freunden essen und feiern .... alles war möglich und alles war geprägt von der idyllischen Atmosphäre der alten Steinwände, der Helligkeit durch die vielen Fenster und einer geschmackvollen Einrichtung (die Schweizer Staatsbahn-Garderobe haben wir für unser Haus adaptiert ;-) ). Liebe Frau Neumann, wir bedanken uns sehr für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und wünschen Ihnen und Ihrer Familie weiterhin viel Erfolg und ein frohes Weihnachtsfest. Mit herzlichen Grüßen. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und auch praktisch eingerichtet - es hat nichts gefehlt.
Das Dörfchen La Garde-Freinet hat alles, was man braucht (Bars, Restaurants, Einkaufmöglichkeiten), in der Nähe sind Supermärkte, Ausflugsziele, die Côte d'Azur mit St. Tropez etc. und super Stränden, rundum - wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Urlaub
