About this house rental

This four bedroom home offers warm décor and provides a welcoming feel to your group or extended family gatherings. Niagara Riverview Inn is located on River Road and just a short ten minute walk to the Falls, Casino Niagara, Clifton Hill and many other attractions.

The home comfortably sleeps 9 persons in a total of 4 bedrooms (1 King and 3 Queen Beds plus two sofa beds) and is serviced by two bathrooms. The home is centrally heated and central air-conditioned. Built in 1965, this bright and airy home is typical of the architectural period with a split level design, hardwood floors, large bay window overlooking the Niagara River.

Guests can retreat to the large living room complete with numerous couches, reclining chairs, and writing desks. All the modern comforts of home are here including a large flat screen TVs, cable TV, Blue Ray Player, radio, complimentary Wi-Fi, patio, and more. The large dining area is perfect for board or card games and makes a great space to reflect on the days experiences.

ENJOY A COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST
Breakfast is delivered each morning to the house and consists of a hot entree, fresh muffins, fruits, yohurts, juice and coffee.

Guest access

Enjoy relaxing on the rear deck with plenty of chairs and the shade provided by a large number of trees. The front porch is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the cool breezes provided by the Niagara River and Gorge.

In addition, the home is close to a public park with plenty of open green space, two tennis courts, and children's play area. Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events.

Check-in time is between 3 pm and 11 pm.

Overall, great stay, and would go back and stay again! Loved being in walking distance of everything (with ample private parking), but just outside the busier hotel / tourist area. The beds were large and very comfortable, with spacious bedrooms. Having a yummy & filling breakfast & juice delivered daily was a nice perk! Host was communicative and responsive. Excellent dog-friendly stay. The only thing that could be improved is that the bathrooms could use a refresh. Loved waking up and hearing the falls while walking our dog in the morning!

We stayed five nights. House was a great set up for our family (the toddler loved all of the steps), it was great that it was pet friendly. Breakfasts were great…it allowed us more time to get ready for our day. Location was great…we were able to walk to the falls and tourist area…sometimes multiple times a day. Loved the nearby walking path and playground. I gave a four for cleanliness due to some dirty dishes in the cabinets, crumbs/dust under the couch and around the curtains.

Our host John ws very open with communication as we approached our trip to ask about breakfast timing and allergies, etc. He also let us know about the self check-in process and was helpful throughout the whole stay. The property was clean and the area was conveniently near popular attractions.

The location was awesome and within walking distance of the Falls and Clifton Hills. The breakfast was great Was so thankful that we didnt have to worry about buying breakfast. It was brought to us every morning and was fantastic.

This is a great location to enjoy the sites of the area. John was a great host and breakfast brought to the house was a definite plus. The only thing I’d offer to prospective renters is that this is an older neighborhood and this property is an older home. That was just fine for us but if you’re looking for or expecting a new, modern property you’ll probably be disappointed. Just an FYI.

Four couples enjoyed relaxing in this Niagara Falls home. A delicious breakfast was brought each morning even on our check out day! The dining room table was perfect for eating and playing cards, too! The living room area was a little small for eight of us but we made do. It was nice and quiet for sleeping. The short walk to the falls and Clifton Hill was a real advantage!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. First the positives: the location was ideal. It was about a 10 minute walk to the falls area and we felt safe walking in the area after dark. The rooms were large and it was great to have breakfast delivered each day. On the negative side, the entire house was a bit rundown, especially the kitchen and bathrooms.

The home could use some TLC, but it's clean, has comfortable beds, and is pretty well stocked. Best two features are the great breakfast brought fresh by the owner every morning and the location. It's located directly across the street from the Niagara River and is a very nice walk away from the waterfall. There is no laundry in the home.

You simply cannot beat the location! It's literally a 10 minute WALK to great views of the Falls and the lights and fireworks each evening. The home is spacious, has a couple of outdoor dining options, and has that classic retro charm. Communication with John was great, he is a great host. Even managed to catch us before we got too far away because we had left behind our carryon! Would definitely stay here again.

Like most homes in the area, this is an older home, but it is as close to the falls and attractions as you can get. It's 10-15 minute walk to the beginning of the falls. 7 minutes to catch the WEGO bus. You need a pass for that. Check out the Niagara Parks Passes also...it may save you some $ on the attractions.The home has stairs. There's a sign inside the entry asking you to take your shoes off. The other home we stayed at did the same thing. There's a large bedm with private bath when you first enter. The ceiling is low. I'm 5'9" and I could touch the ceiling flat handed. There's an area in front of the bathrm that's 6" lower than that. So, tall people, beware! There was a little water on the floor in the bathroom that I wiped up. That's when I noticed the floor was really dirty. I was thankful I had house slippers with me. I have to be honest, the king size bed had a couple hairs and a few crumbs. So I slept in the bed upstairs. It was pretty cool down there, which actually was really nice. There was a ceramic heater avaliable. Twice the commode would not flush, but the owner was able to get that fixed right away. He was extremely easy to reach and work with. The next level has 2 bedrms & bath. All seemed clean except the floor. Up 2 steps was 1 bedrm, living rm, dining rm and walkthru kitchen. All pretty clean. 2 couches and chair really needs replaced! They're dingy and sag. The outside area is really overgrown and needs a hard trimming. But, I would stay here again.

My 3 friends and I, who are way over 18, have vacationed together for 32 years. We enjoyed having enough space to provide a bedroom for each of us. Having John's breakfasts delivered each morning was a real treat. John also helped us with ideas of what to do and see. The house was comfortable. I would recommend it. Gayle

John was wonderful with communication and the breakfast he brought to us each morning was delicious and filling. I loved that he came in each morning and asked what our plans were and was ready to offer suggestions on what else we might enjoy. It was really nice to not have to plan breakfast for ourselves each morning. He also made sure we had juice, half and half, sugar packets, and dishwasher tablets, and we always had enough leftover breakfast things to use as snacks! The property was clean and exactly as described. The location was really great! Close enough to walk to most of the tourist attractions, and right along the Wego bus line to get where we wanted to go without taking our car if we wanted. Our family of 4 almost always chooses to stay in a VRBO for prolonged vacations, as we find that having access to a full kitchen and living space allows us to retreat from the hustle and bustle of crowds to recharge. We would stay here again if we ever make it back this direction!

Our host was very accommodating. He offered information about the area and answered all of our questions. The breakfast every morning was delicious and fueled our explorations each day. The home was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed how close we were to the falls. We only had to use our vehicle for exploring outside the area. It was an easy walk to the falls. we had tickets to Greg Frewin show, needed a place to stay for 3 days- 6 adults. Found this address. John (proprietor) was easy to reach and discuss location . Home was what we wanted and needed. Our stay at this charming bed and breakfast was absolutely delightful. The home was cozy and felt like a home away from home. Even our dog was relaxed and we know she enjoyed her stay too. John was incredibly welcoming and made sure our stay was comfortable. It was like a mini-hotel complete with toiletries. The bed and pillows were crisp and clean. Great location right on Niagara River, and within walking distance of the falls and Clifton Hill. Very spacious house with a nice yard, and the hot breakfast John delivered every morning was fantastic! This review is long overdue. The home was so warm and cozy. There are three bedroom plus one apartment, downstairs. Lots of room to move around with a fully stocked kitchen and a nice backyard, which, weather permitting, would have been lovely to have a meal in. One day, we spent the entire day in the living room, with the fireplace on, watching movies on cable. The light fog and mist really added to the warm ambience. Each morning, John delivered enough food to feed the 3 of us, plus several more: eggs, French toast, cheese, fresh fruit, sausage, yogurt and fruit juice. On the last morning, since we left very early, he delivered, "carry on" snacks to take with us on the plane. He was so thoughtful and considerate and provided a lot of insight into the area. Our trip was truly, magical, in fact, my 83 year old mother said it was, "the best trip, I've ever had." This, coming from a woman who has visited at least half of the countries on this planet...so that is saying something! Thank you John.

We unfortunately did not get to stay. There was a tragic accident at the rainbow bridge which closed the borders but the host was very kind and refunded our money right away. He was always very prompt in responding to my messages. I hope to stay there sometime!
