B&B Orto Paradiso

The most stunning location overlooking minori and the coastline. Not sure we have had breakfast with such a view before. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.

Like everyone else we read about the stairs but oh boy! We are fairly fit 50 year olds and managed the 180 maybe twice a day BUT there are more to then get down to Town. You can get a taxi after the 180 steps (expensive for a short journey) or a golf buggy. Consider wisely - once at the top, you won't want to just pop down to Town on a whim. It's most certainly worth the trek but be warned. Our bad luck was the amount of mosquitoes, which are all across the coastline but we didn't consider the location would mean mosquitoe central. We were bitten constantly (not just in the evenings but afternoons too because of the fauna up high). Again - beautiful to look at but mosquitoes love it. Unfortunately even with repellant, it stopped us being able to relax outside. Rooms are nice enough. We had a basic room which was just that with a lovely view.

Our stay at Orto Paradiso was absolutely incredible. The views are beautiful, and we both left saying it hade been one of the best places we had stayed. What really made the stay was the hospitality of the staff, Filomena and Eugenio deserve so much recognition, they are warm, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They made our trip unforgettable.

Our room had stunning views and the property has a lovely family feel. So many small creative details are spread throughout, which we loved. Filomena gave us so many handy helpful tips and information. The breakfast was lovely and one of the days we stayed in due to the heat, they cooked lunch for all the guests with produce from their garden.

Wonderful view high above Minori and lovely setting with friendly staff. However very rustic and needs some updating and improvements to justify the €175 in April.

The bedding, towels, parking situation, facilities and breakfast need improving for the price charged. The duvet/cover was not clean (we removed it and slept with sheet), only one pillow per person, a damp apartment and no housekeeping for 3 nights stay so we were using wet towels that whole stay due to nowhere to dry them. Nice coffee and fruit at breakfast but ham and cheese were packet bought and breakfast wasn't to quality of other lower priced B&Bs in Italy. We mentioned about bringing a car a month prior but there were no spots to park so paid parking on the road is €24 per day. Lots of improvements needed to justify the price and we've stayed in far better quality places for cheaper or same price on Amalfi and in Italy generally.
