Hotel und Gasthof Soller

Charming Old World family run hotel in a lovely setting. It is right across from the train station with many trees and a park adjacent to the station. Very Dickens Christmas Village feel! It is a direct short train ride, with frequent service, to MUC on the S8. The trip into central Munich takes about 25-30 minutes on the same train. The hotel is very clean and has a small elevator. There is a lovely restaurant and beer garden. The room and bathroom size were large with good lighting. We did not have breakfast because of an early departure. Conveniences near the hotel include a bakery and convenient store across the street at the train station. Also a Lidl within a short walking distance.

The beds in our room were a bit soft and creaky.

A quick two stops on the S8 to the airport. Nice small restaurant downstairs.

The bed was a single bed.

Location on trainline to Flughafen was ideal. Restaurant downstairs excellent. Staff were all great!

No bedside lamp.

Chose the hotel for its proximity to the airport. Very convenient with S-bahn station directly across the street. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable.

There were no concerns. Although there was not much street traffic, it was a little noisy when it occurred since the road went directly by the hotel room.
