Very good

Great location near beautiful Chinon and welcoming neighbours, thank you for the peaches! We enjoyed the outdoor area, spacious bathroom, and the character of the house. Very useful to have free parking outside. Thanks for letting us leave a little later, much appreciated.

The stairs were very steep for someone with some mobility problems. Sofa very uncomfortable. House very small for boisterous children especially as both bedrooms mezzanine. But it was amazing value and we enjoyed our stay.

Charming little gite close to Chinon and Chateaux of the Loire.

Close to Chinon and various other Chateaux. Clean and well presented and a warm welcome from the owner who kept in contact during our journey and the lady who met us on arrival. Convenient parking outside the property. Air conditioning unit in the first bedroom and fans in both bedrooms were very much appreciated.

Very steep stairs to second bedroom. Not a problem for us but maybe this should be made clearer in the property details.

The gite overall was comfortable and ideally placed to enjoy Chinon to the full.

The gite was dog-friendly, easily accessible free and secure parking outside the gite, warm welcome by an appointed neighbour, exceptionally comfortable bed, only a mile into Chinon so very useful eg for restaurants, third of a mile to the nearest quite large and well-stocked Super U.

Whilst equipped with two toilets, upstairs and down, these were very cramped for anyone over six foot high. Cooking equipment was sufficient for two people but insufficient for a family of four, for example. The downstairs decor would benefit from brighter colours.

Pretty cottage , great location so would come again

Easy walking distance to supermarket and cafe and to main town. Pretty stone house with good parking. Private terrace and good walks nearby .

Directions to house not exact and could give problems if arriving in dark . Followed host to house after ringing him, which was easy , so no problem for us . Dogs occasionally noisy next door but no real worry

Close to Super U

The location was excellent for touring the area with a supermarket super u, just across the road. The shower was very good and roomy. It was good to have private parking either in the garage or outside away from the road although the entrance was narrow

The address on booking. Com is incorrect so satnav sends you to the wrong place. The owner did contact us and explained this, he also was there to guide us to the gite It is difficult to cool the upstairs without opening windows which lets in flies of which there seemed to be lots, also in the heat only hot air came in The seating inside and outside were not the most comfortable and felt rickerty, we found it difficult to relax on.

Gîte typique de la région. Dépaysement a proximité de la voie verte, et d'autres boucles en cyclo Des voisins sympathiques, remise de clé alors qu'il y avait un coffre sécurisé. Possibilité d'utilisé le garage pour ranger nos vélos.
