About this lodge
The Factory is on the beachfront 10 minutes north of Kaikoura. It offers luxury accommodation in a 100-year-old dairy factory with dramatic views of snow-covered mountains on one side and the ocean on the other.
Your stay at The Factory is exclusive, with only one party of up to six people booked at a time. This means you are guaranteed absolute privacy and peace in which to relax and enjoy the stunning location.
Your accommodation, in a separate wing of The Factory, is luxurious and completely self-contained. It has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge.
Free WiFi is available at all times.
There is a sunny private courtyard with an outdoor spa and a helicopter pad on-site.
The owners, Janet and Paul, live in the main factory building and are always happy to offer assistance when needed.
With gorgeous furnishings and linen, a log burner fire and heated flooring throughout, The Factory offers uniquely decadent accommodation all year round.
Special conditions:
Your stay at The Factory is self-catered. Price of $480 per night is for 2 people. Extra adults are $100 and extra children $70 per night.
A catered option is available which includes welcome drinks and snacks and a full 3 course gourmet breakfast. Prices for the catered option are:
$600 for 2 per night $130 per extra adult and $90 per extra child.
Extras: Cleaning (included); Linen (included);

Such an incredible spot. Loved standing on the beach looking at the mountains and then turning 180 degrees and seeing Hector’s dolphins! The house is gorgeous and very well appointed. We wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks also for the unexpected treats!
