Apartment close to transport

Quiet and safe neighbourhood. Cosy apartment. Walkable from the train station and supermarket. All the facilities we needed. Bus was convenient to go to the old town.

A reasonable apartment in an area with no shops, no restaurants and only one bus into the city.

The property

The location was far too far away from the centre. There was a park and ride to get into St Malo but inconvenient in poor weather. The only effort the hosts had made to tell us about the property were the cleaning instructions in English. They could have used google translate to explain about all the appliances! We phoned the hosts but they hung up on me saying they didn't understand English. I texted back my query in French but did not get a reply. How rude! The mattress was so thin we had to use a spare duvet for my wife to lie on. She woke up with flea bites whereas I did not.

very good communication and nice owners

They had very strict cleaning rules, we spent a lot of time bringing our own sheet, cleaning everything, taking care of the trash, putting everyday back the same way etc. It ruined a little the vacation time, spirit of break from day to day activities, operations. I wasn’t expecting to go away from cleaning my house yo come clean this one basically.

Furniture and bed low quality items. Bedroom curtain gave little privacy. Despite following the instructions to operate the heating in the apartment, we couldn't get it to work.

Schöner Aufenthalt in einer hellen Wohnung mit viel Platz als Ausgangspunkt für interessante Ausflüge.

Helles geräumiges Apartment in einem Mietshaus mit Aufzug und kostenlosen Stellplatz. Die Wohnung war im Großen und Ganzen sauber. Es gab jedoch einige schmutzige Stellen bei Mobiliar und Ausstattung, die aber wahrscheinlich gar nicht mehr so einfach zu beseitigen sind. Die Lage ist für eine so große Stadt St. Malo wahrscheinlich ganz gut, die Innenstadt ist aber nicht ohne weiteres fußläufig zu erreichen, besonders wenn man schon einige Kilometer hinter sich gebracht hat. Es gibt eine Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, die wir aber nicht ausprobiert haben. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut.

In der Wohnung gab es kein WLAN. Das stand aber schon in der Beschreibung bei der Buchung. Wir haben es nur übersehen. Ein Bäcker war in der Nähe nicht zu erreichen. Man konnte separat die Endreinigung für 40 € buchen. Das haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen. Nicht zuletzt durch ausliegende Informationsblätter, die auf Strafzahlung bei zu später Abreise oder nicht korrekt ausgeführter Endreinigung auf einen zukommen, hatte man aber die ganze Zeit ein ungutes Gefühl, weil man nicht die professionelle Endreinigung in Anspruch genommen hat. Letztendlich war wohl alles in Ordnung, aber uns gefiel es besser bei anderen Unterkünften, in denen alles inklusive war.

La ubicación, espacioso, luminosidad natural. Un apartamento con muchas posibilidades.

Muy sucio, huele a cañería, el colchón muy mala calidad, las almohadas eran cojines de muy mala calidad; la Ropa de cama y toallas hay q pedirlas y para eso, están raídas de tanto uso; hay q limpiar Al dejar el Apartamento pero solo hay un único trapo para baños y cocina y q esta tan viejo q tiene agujeros.
