Zostel Plus Wayanad

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything was awesome at Zostel Plus Wayanad — beautiful property, breathtaking views, lush greenery, clouds, bonfire and plenty of indoor games. The location is perfect, especially for those planning to visit Chembra Peak. The staff were also very helpful and accommodated our room change request.

The only downside during our visit on 16 Aug was that renovation work was ongoing, and the temporary open kitchen meant some dust was getting into the food. Food also felt slightly expensive for the current property condition. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place!

The location is amazing, we saw fireflies on the way to the property upon switching off the vehicle lights, the sunrise from tree house should not be missed, there’s an artificial pond where you can feed the fish!, the property is beautiful!

Very bad road leading up to zostel, No proper fans in dorms, no toiletries apart from toilet paper and handwash, food not up to the mark, outside food not allowed even though inside food is pricey and not that great, not much interaction of hosts with the guests

The property offers a remarkable ambiance, having previously served as a hospital for the tea farm workers.

It's too far from town, and if you don't have your personal vehicle, you're stuck. For food and transport (if you don't have your personal vehicle), you will have to rely solely on the property. I also didn't like the loud music they played in the evening near the dorms. (They placed the play area next to their dorms, so you cannot sleep until people stop playing games and making noise.) The management needs to understand that not everyone likes loud music, especially when we are close to nature and want peace ✌️🕊️. Food from outside is not allowed, and there is no food delivery available in the area where the property is located. The restaurant on their property makes tasteless food, and their prices are too high. In their dorms, they don't have ceiling fans or small attached fans for each bed, so you have to share one table fan between two beds.

The location is great however cleanliness is not maintained.

Check in was not smooth. The staff did not explain it to us. Cleanliness is not maintained. Could have been better.
