Appartamento al primo piano, con ampi spazi abitativi. Ottima la soluzione con due bagni. Bella terrazza coperta, per fresche colazioni e pranzi in libertà. Buono il livello di privacy. Buona la dotazione di vettovaglie, anche se andrebbe migliorata la quantità/varietà di pentolame. Posizione tranquilla ma comoda al centro di Villasimius, raggiungibile con una passeggiata di pochi minuti. Anche il mare è raggiungibile a piedi con un percorso protetto.
Sarebbe utile trovare all'arrivo qualche depliant relativo alla zona, biglietti da visita di qualche locale.... Comunque gli affittuari sono disponibili per fornire indicazioni.

The apartment is located on the hill side studded with villas, at the end of the road, adjacent to a building under construction. The sea can be partially seen afar through a roof of a nearby construction. It is very close to the city centre (5 minutes of a slow walk). If you go downhill app. 100 meters, you will get to the main street with restaurants and shops which will lead you directly to the city centre (app. 500 m). The neighbourhood is quiet (there are of course some cars on the street, but in the night there is almost no traffic). During our stay in the apartment (beginning July 2019), construction of a new building was undergoing down on the street, which was rather noisy and was loud even through closed doors and windows. Fortunately, the workers won´t start their work prior 8:30 am, so we were not disturbed in our sleep and when we got back from the beach (app. at 5:00-6:00 pm) there were already no construction works. The apartment is spacious with two bathrooms and air-conditions in each room. Just make sure you do not switch all air-conditions at once, as the fuses no not have capacity for such strong current draw (we used only the one in the kitchen/living room and it was sufficient to cool down the entire apartment). There is also a WiFi in the apartment (it is quite slow, though). The apartment has a big terrace with various seatings where you can enjoy your breakfast of evening wine or beer (without any mosquitoes). If you have a car, you can park it in a private garage under the apartment and do not have to worry whether you find a parking place when you come back from the beach, and in the morning your car is not hot inside when you drive to the beach, too.
Be prepared that the staff taking care of the apartment on behalf of the host does not speak any other language than Italian. Fortunately, I do understand and speak Italian, otherwise it might be problematic to understand how to operate the apartment. It is necessary to mention, though, that the communication with the host through the mobile phone (in English or Italian) is unproblematic, very fast and efficient.
As there is no dishwasher in the apartment, make sure you check the dishes prior to their first use. We rather washed them all as many of them were greasy.
It would be nice to have at least one full (or at least half-full) roll of a toilet paper in the bathroom, so that rushing to buy you the toilet paper is not the first thing you need to do prior to start unpacking.
There is quite sophisticated system of the waste separation and disposal (which is great). In the guidelines to the waste treatment (found in the apartment) there is a map of a waste collection centre, but it is of a very bad quality and there is no address mentioned therein either. Just to make it easier for you to find it, it is located opposite to the Eurospin supermarket on Via Su Pranu 252 (Villasimius Ecocentro), direction to the industrial zone (Zona industriale). You will need this address as it is not possible to leave any waste in the apartment and you have to take it with you when departing (there is also a daily waste collection service from the entrance gate of the apartment, but each day for a different type of waste, so it is not possible to have all types of your waste collected at once by this daily service prior to your departure).
