About this apartment rental
The apartment is located right in the center of Keszthely and yet very quiet in a side street. There is a closed parking lot in the courtyard, balcony with a good view of the city. Restaurants, market, boulevard, shops in 200m, lake with a very nice seaside resort with restaurants, children's playground, culture, ship pier in 800m. There are also many sights. Kezszthely is the capital of Lake Balaton with 25,000 inhabitants. There is all infrastructure including hospital, banks, supermarkets. It is 6 km to the famous thermal lake in Heviz, and 20 km to the thermal lake Zalakaros. Therefore, the apartment is also suitable for cures and relaxation all year round. Underfloor heating and air conditioning always ensure good living.
The apartment consists of two floors. Downstairs are the entrance area, modern living room with LED TV, there is WiFi. From the living room you can access the balcony and the open kitchen. There is also a toilet with a shower. A staircase leads up from the living room. There is a bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a bed for two people.
For a third and fourth person, sleeping in the living room is possible on a very suitable couch and a good mobile bed. It should be noted that there is no separation of the rooms when sleeping, since the stairs connect the floors. A cot is also available for families with small children.
You will receive the keys from our administrator, who will also hand over the keys to you. It is a very nice man who is happy to answer questions and help you with problems.
Please note that the city council charges a tourist tax of 1.5 € per day per person over 18 years, which must be paid in cash upon receipt of the key.

Vielen Dank an Familie Kupfer und Familie Schmitt für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub. Es war alles vorhanden was man fürs Leben braucht. Das Objekt war sehr sauber und durch seine zentrale Lage ist alles sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir freuen uns schon auf 2020 um ein weiteres Objekt dieses Anbieters zu besuchen. Einfach nur top. So sollte Urlaub sein. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür und eine schöne Zeit. Vielleicht sieht man sich in 2020.

Der Verwalter Herr Schmitt ist Deutscher und sehr hilfsbereit.
Alle Elektrogeräte funktionierten. Es gab sogar einen Eierkocher und Eierbecher, die wir schon in so vielen Ferienwohnungen vermisst haben. Ein besonderes Lob möchte ich an Frau Schmitt richten, denn die Wohnung war perfekt sauber. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich das Zentrum, der Markt, der Bäcker und ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man in wenigen Minuten am Balton. ( zu Fuss ca. 20 Minuten ).

Die Ferienwohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Für 2 Personen bietet sie genügend Platz.
Sie ist sehr schön eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt für den Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung liegt günstig im Zentrum und auch in ruhiger Lage.
Bei Anfragen stand uns der Hausmeister Herr Schmitt auch jeder Zeit mit Rat und
Tat zur Verfügung.
Vielen Dank .Wir kommen gern wieder.

This is a very nice apartment in the center of Keszhely (just 100-200m away from the main walking street etc.). All of the infromation given was correct and it was easy to communicate with the owner. They have a person living nearby who takes care of the apartment and he was also very helpful. (They speak German) .
We had some very hot days and must say that the A/C in the apartment worked very well. This apartment is in the center, which means you have a couple of kilometers to the beaches. The main municipal beach is within walking distance for adults or larger kids. We had a car though, and the apartment comes with its own parking place, very convenient.
The only thing missing from the apartment is a washing machine, that would be a good plus. But there's a laundry in town that you can use.
The kitchen is a bit small but it has everything you need. You have a relatively large room downstairs and a nice bedroom upstairs. Downstairs you also have an own balcony. A nice plus is you have two bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. The owner provides plenty of towels, linen, etc.
There's a spiral staircase from downstairs to upstairs. As they say you can't "close the door" to the bedroom. If you are a small family like us you don't mind at all. However, if you have very small children or you yourself have trouble moving, I would not recommend this apartment, as you can fall down in the stairway. Our 4-year-old was old enough to master the place well and he loved the stairs, but if your child is younger, say 1-2 years, you would constantly be afraid of the stairs.
For us, this apartment was a perfect fit. The double bed is very comfortable! And they provided an extra child's bed for our boy.
Keszthely is a nice small town, it has a good athmosphere and there are lots of beautiful buildings. There are loads of things to do nearby, especially if you have a car and can explore the surrounding area. We had a wonderful week. For the price this apartment was a very good deal and we might come back another time, danke schön!
