Larisa Resort, Mussoorie

Very beautiful property with view of mountains from the terrace. The food is delicious and the staff is exceptional kind and supportive. Special mention of Gokul, Pramod, Shyam, Aman and the chefs for making our stay a memorable one.

Great location in the lap of nature , away from crowded Mussoorie and Landour.

Final approach road ( 100 mtr approx) down from the main road is treacherous and risky.

The staff was friendly and helpful. However, they checked us into a wrong property which was not even located within their premises. Luckily, they caught this mistake quickly and within a few minutes we were escorted to the correct room which we had booked. They had a nice bonfire going every night in the garden area which was open to all guests. Staff was kind enough to serve us breakfast in our room which was located right above the kitchen.

The approach road off the main road is a very difficult one. Our taxi driver could not negotiate the steep turns and had to take help from the resort driver. We had to walk up and down the steep road to get to our car every day. I wonder how senior citizens would manage in the absence of the run-down resort Maruti van in which we hitched a ride once. Water pressure in the shower area is a low. We noticed that the table on which we had dinner at night was not even cleaned in the morning. At 8:30 am the staff was cleaning the dining area in order to set it up for breakfast, a tad too late for early risers. For the prices which the resort is charging a bit of professionalism in running the property would be appreciated.
