    Decent place. View and location wise not the best in mussoorie. But hospitality and food is good. Quiet environment

    I went for a business trip with felllow clients and booked the place based on photos and view that draw me in. The ground staff was also pleasant, but unfortunately the management at the Desk was not. The manager during the day Mr. Manish, on our arrival told us that the room we booked via agoda was not available also that our booking was not confirmed ( despite having got the confirmation from agoda ) Dear Agoda, pls adress this, whats the point of booking through you if I hear that my booking isnt confirmed at the time of arrival. And then we were informed that the room I booked was unavailable as someone else was there in it and gave us the option to take a smaller room or cancel the booking.( Agoda would have charged us for no show in this case ) We had specifically booked based on the fact that 3 men would be sharing he room and selected a bigger room with a bigger bed . Having no choice , we had to give in, but after speaking to other guests, we found out that the same was done with every other guest and was his strategy to make us upgrade to the premium rooms . Also, the person who was answering my queries on the phone no was different than the manager. Experiences which make you feel cheated right on arrival leave a bitter taste and spoil ones visit. I would request Agoda and Owners of the resort to check such malpractices if they value customers.
