With a private heated pool, panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea, and the dramatic Biokovo mountain rising behind you, this is the perfect base for an unforgettable Croatian holiday.
Wake up each morning to breathtaking views stretching across the turquoise Adriatic to the islands of Hvar and Brač on the horizon. Watch spectacular sunsets from the terrace. Breathe in the scent of rosemary, lavender, and pine as you relax by the pool with a glass of local Croatian wine.
THE VILLA — THREE FLOORS OF COMFORT
Villa Marina spans three spacious floors, each approximately 60 square meters, offering generous living space for up to 6 guests.
Ground Floor:
A modern kitchen provides cooking space, alongside a bright living room with air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and a large dining area comfortably seating 10 or more guests — perfect for family dinners and entertaining. This floor offers access to a spacious terrace with stunning views of the Adriatic Sea, Makarska harbor, and the islands of Hvar and Brač. Furnished with deck chairs and loungers, this terrace is the perfect spot to watch the sunset with a drink in hand. Direct access to the private heated pool and outdoor lounge area. A full bathroom and a laundry room with a washing machine complete this level.
First Floor:
Step into a welcoming open-plan living area featuring a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and a comfortable living room filled with natural light. Sliding doors from the kitchen open onto a balcony with sweeping panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea, Makarska harbor, and the islands of Hvar and Brač. This floor also includes the elegant king-size master bedroom with ample storage and natural light. A full bathroom completes this level.
Second Floor (Top Floor):
The entire top floor is air-conditioned and features two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a queen-size bed, both with direct balcony access offering the villa's most expansive panoramic views of the Adriatic coastline and islands. A dedicated working area, full bathroom, and a comfortable sitting area complete this level.
A baby cot is available free of charge upon request.
OUTDOOR PARADISE

We are a local Croatian family who have been welcoming guests to Villa Marina for over 9 years. This is our beloved countryside retreat — we live in Makarska, just 10 minutes away by car, so you'll have complete privacy while knowing we're always nearby if you need anything.
We personally greet every guest upon arrival with homemade rakija (Croatian fruit brandy), fresh seasonal fruit, and cold water. We speak English, German, Croatian, and Russian, and we're always available via WhatsApp, Viber, phone, SMS, or email.

This was a highlight on our month long European trip. Beautifully appointed, spacious, amazing outside spaces including a wonderful pool we loved swimming in daily. It is up a hill which we had some trouble finding ONLY because our GPS and phones failed the day we arrived. Amazingly, the family who built it came down to town and led us back to the house which was beyond kind. They are a warm, accommodating family and they built this for themselves so it is a super special home. We loved the nearby local restaurants for dinner and highly recommend staying here. You will enjoy the peace and quiet, drop dead water views, as well as relaxing in the home.

We had a fantastic time staying in this excellent villa. Spotlessly clean. Good location outside of the main town. Quiet, but within easy walking distance of 2 good restaurants. Stunning view from the villa. Lovely pool- more of a plunge pool, but big enough for the kids to cool off! Excellent communication with the host Marijana. Both Marijana and her brother could not have been more helpful for us. Would thoroughly recommend the villa and Croatia.

Very clean and well equipped large villa, with fantastic views. The owners were helpful, and replied to any questions quickly. The villa was ideal for relaxing in, with sunny spots and shady areas for some relief! Kitchens were very well equipped so cooking on nights in was easy, bedrooms were comfortable and living areas were big enough to have plenty of space. Air conditioning was in the living areas, but kept the whole property sufficiently cool at night. It is very peaceful, but not far by car to shops, restaurants, bars etc. It was quite a walk into town and the beach, but there were car parks at the bottom of the hill to save the long walk back up! The local restaurant was well worth a visit, both for the view and the food. It was a great base for a beach holiday, although if you walk slightly away from the main beach you can find quieter areas as the main town beach was very crowded. You can also explore the islands on one of the many boat trips from the harbour, We enjoyed simply meandering along the coast line, either in the car and finding little villages, or on foot along the coastal footpaths. Split, Trogir and Omis were good for days out. Fantastic property in a lovely area.

My friends and I spent 2 weeks in May in Marijanas house. The location is a perfect combination of all that nature and the town have to offer. The house is surrounded by nature, so the atmosphere is peaceful. The beach is really beautiful and offers many activities. There is a barbecue, which we used most of the nights to prepare dinner. This house is an ideal place for couples that just want to hang out and relax. Highly recommend!
