The flat is on the ground floor, in an average neighbourhood; there are both better and worse areas in the city. Giuseppe, the host, was very kind. The flat is long, with plenty of space in the living room and bedroom; it is quite long and divided crosswise into four sections, including a hallway, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Apart from the small window above the door, there are no windows facing the outside, but there is a tiny courtyard – 1.5 x 1 m – but almost no daylight gets in there. Overall, it’s fine, clean, quiet at night, the bed is comfortable, there’s a kitchen, fridge, washing machine, A well-stocked Conad supermarket is a 7-minute walk, City centre or railway station is 15 minutes away.

A few things that could easily be changed to improve guests’ comfort. There is no kettle to boil water; I understand that Italians don’t drink tea (unless they’re ill), but other nations do :-). A small kettle for 7 euros would do the job. For 5 days – 2 people – we were given a single roll of toilet paper :-) It’s a good idea to leave a few rolls so that tourists don’t have to search their pockets for tissues. There isn’t even a single knife with a sharp tip; there are only 2 dinner knives, 2 forks 2 teaspoons and 2 cups. Let's just say it's too economical.

A lovely, clean apartment in very good location (everything is within easy walking distance). The host is very kind and helpful.

The place was located pretty decent, about 15-20 minutes walk to city centre, markets, train/busstation. Lovely apartment that had everything for a comfortable stay. Clean, nice bathroom, kitchen. Area was a bit rugged, but that’s Sicily for you. Supermakets and great places to eat right around the corner. The host was really nice and answered pretty quickly when we wrote him.

Everything was absolutely fine. The only thing that could be seen as a bit annoying was the neighbours, as they yelled a lot.

We booked this apartment tempted by a good price and facilities such as equipped kitchen and washing machine, as we planned to stay for 3 weeks and work from there. The wifi was good. The place is cozy and the owner is helpful but I would recommend it only for a short stay.

The neighbors are very noisy, screaming during the day and the night as well. The apartment is located on the ground floor so you can hear everything from the upper floors no matter if it's a loud music, toilet flush or noises. Because of the milky glass of the front door, it's dark in the apartment and it can be a problem when you like a bright spaces and it's cold outside and you can't keep the doors open all the time. The flat wasn't prepared for the longer stay - luckily after request, the owner gave us another set of towels. The neighborhood seemed to be safe, but it's dirty.
