Great little apartment in downtown Aarhus

The apartment is well located, overlooking a main shopping street in Aarhus. It's an easy walk to all the main sights in town and about 10 minutes from the bus and train stations. The apartment is clean and has a well appointed kitchen. It also has in-suite laundry. The owner was very helpful, prov iding good information before we arrived and helping us with a minor issue we ran into.

The apartment is located on the first floor (i.e. one level above the ground floor) and access to the front door is via an external staircase. This could be a challenge for some, especially those with heavy bags. We had a problem unlocking the gate to the apartment when we came home at night. A neighbour showed us a trick to do this. I contacted the owner and he gave us a replacement key that worked.

Cozy apartment in a fantastic city center location

The location was fabulous and the apartment was well equipped. The information sent beforehand was very complete and hepful. We only wished we could have stayed a few more days!

A window covering at the front door by the bathroom would have been nice. It felt a little exposed. But that is a tiny flaw. The apartment was lovely!

Perfect location. City center in a nice commercial street (is not noisy and also sound isolation of windows is perfect) The flat is nice and spacious and has everything we needed (kitchen,...).The apartment has 1 large double bed and a sofa bed. We used the sofa bed for our 15 an 18 yrs old sons and it was good. The owners are friendly and helpful. It was a perfect choice for our 3 nights stay in Aarhus. IWe highly recommend it.

The apartment is fantastic and the location is right in the centre. Everything we wanted to do was walkable and close by. The hosts were amazing with the information they provided. Would definitely stay again if in Aarhus.

The pillows were small and too soft, the towels were rather thin. It could be noisy at night and you couldn’t leave the windows facing the street open, would be a problem on hot days and nights.

Best location, close to everything. Clean and tidy, stylish interior design. Great bathroom and kitchen facilities. Comfy bed. I cannot fault this accommodation and would recommend it to anyone visiting Aarhus. We would definitely stay here again.

If you have the windows open at night on the weekend it could be loud, but this was not an issue with the good quality windows that seal well.

Sightseeing in Aarhus

Great location, right on the shopping street. Very convenient for supermarket and public transport. Well equipped kitchen and the flat was super clean. Hosts were so helpful - flat is difficult to find so we had lots of photos of entrance to flat and parking which really helped.

Noisy at night, as you would expect being situated on a busy high street, but this was outweighed by the convenience during the day.

THE BEST for relaxing & convenient stay in Aarhus

We just had 5 nights in this unit over Christmas. The unit really contributed to our great festive stay in Aarhus. Our room looked directly over the main shopping street (the Stroget) and we had a great view of the twinkling Christmas decorations. On our quieter times, we loved to just watch the Aarhus world go by from the floor length windows & enjoy the festive lights. The room was a spacious & well designed studio. It is evident that a lot of thought has been put into providing a nice, relaxing space. The kitchen was well equipped & stylish; furnishings were lovely, the bed was very comfortable; and the unit included a washer and dryer. It was also super convenient to everything. It is an easy, less than 10 minute walk from the train station. As the unit is located on the Stroget, we also loved being able to pop back in the middle of shopping/sightseeing sprees. Most areas of interest were within a 5-15 min walk including the canals, Latin Quarter, Salling rooftop, harbour, Viking Museum, Aros Art Museum. We also walked to the Tivoli Friheden and Den Gamle By (the Old Town Museum) which were around a 30 min walk. There were also a number of supermarkets within a 5 - 15 minute walk. This includes the Salling basement delicatessen style supermarket across the road, which has a great range of delicacies. We were also very impressed with the helpfulness of the host. Communication was very friendly & personal, and the room included a really detailed helpful guide to services & sights in the area. Totally recommend this place, if you want to relax and enjoy all that Aarhus has to offer!

Very easy to locate the property, as within an easy 10 minute walk to the train station. Owner was very accommodating in allowing us to drop off our luggage, prior to check in time.

Owner was extremely helpful with instructions on how to locate property, & lock box for keys. However, we still had difficulty locating the box & also opening and closing the lock.

Everything was allright, maybe flat number should be more visible, we accidently entered the wrong flat. Also, it would be nice if a bottle of water and some coffee is available in the room, we arrived late and left early, it wasn't easy to find an open store around at night.

Spacious, comfortable and centrally-located

The apartment looked just like the pictures - clean, modern, comfortable, with everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the washer/dryer, and the "welcome" book that described the neighborhood and the amenities in the apartment. The host was very accessible and answered our questions quickly by text. The location was very central to all the museums we wanted to see, and we could easily walk to wherever we wanted to go. It was an easy 5 minute walk from the train station. The apartment is one floor above a busy pedestrian street that was crowded in the daytime, but quieted down at night. The bathroom was large and modern by European standards.
