About this apartment rental
This beautiful, ground-level unit has been remodeled and updated. It sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids (king bed in the bedroom; queen-size sleeper in living room). The living room has gas fireplace, LCD TV with DVD player and a smart speaker. There is high speed WiFi internet access. The bath features a tub-sized (5 ft) glass & tile shower. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom and a standing fan for the living area for the rare summer days it gets hot in Aspen (elevation 7900 ft). Our building does NOT have AC.
The charming condo complex on Cooper Ave. has been remodeled recently. There is free, underground or parking lot private parking. A locker next to the front door provides space for skis and bikes. The condo is adjacent to Wagner Park, has a view of (the top of) Aspen Mountain and is four blocks from the main gondola. It is one block from the center-of-town pedestrian mall and the free skier shuttle bus to Snowmass, Buttermilk, and Aspen Highlands ski areas stops at our corner. The Ice Garden is 3 blocks away.
For summertime enjoyment our condo is a 15-minute walk to the Music Tent (2 blocks from bus), and walking distance to all downtown restaurants - no designated driver needed.
No smoking; no pets. Our condo is available for 30 plus night stays per HOA rules. An HOA required Tenant Info Form must be completed before check in. Ask me about monthly rates.

Very nice 1 bedroom, conveniently located. Groceries, shopping, public transportation, and the hill all easily accessible. Communication with Joan was awesome and needs were quickly addressed. We will definitely book again if we return next year for pre-season training.

This property is exactly as described and very conveniently located for walking to downtown Aspen restaurants and shops, as well as hopping on the local bus system to the ski areas. I appreciated the great communication with the hosts and the nice touches like the availability of many staples. The unit is simple and clean and has everything a single, couple or small family needs. If I find myself in Aspen again, I would rent this unit again!

Having stayed in Aspen the last 4 years while our son competed in the Winter XGames, lodging has been a rather challenging task as demand is at a peak and accessibility to services is invaluable to us. This was the first time renting this space from Joan but it will not be the last. The residence was well appointed, comfortable and wonderfully maintained. Everything we needed was readily available to us. Our plane landed late at night but Joan provided clear, concise direction on how to access the property with the late arrival and everything went smoothly. Location is ideal for access to restaurants and public transportation. Most everything is within walking distance. Thank you Joan for such a delightful stay.
