Come and make Villa Valhalla your favorite OCEAN FRONT vacation home with stunning views of different shades of blues. It is jewel in the village of Akumal. It is the perfect home for a large family or friends gathering who want to relax in the big pool, hammocks, lounge chairs or roof top lounge area and enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The house offers 6 ocean view spacious master bedrooms all with ensuite, balconies or terraces, and the option of either Twin beds or King bed configurations. Each bedroom also has a queen sized futon making great extra sleeping space for kids, families, or adults sharing. All bedrooms have AC, safety boxes, English Satellite TV, and DV player. Valhalla is also one of the only houses in Akumal that is wheelchair friendly with one of the two downstairs bedrooms designed with wider door frames and shower space to cater for disabled needs. We have wireless internet and tons of movies to watch at Valhalla.
The communal areas are is spacious with loads of indoor and outdoor dining and living space and a large fully equipped kitchen.
Walk through the wide sliding doors from the downstairs living area out to the terrace with it's BBQ grill and spacious living and dining areas. Relax by the great fresh water infinity edge pool which has a shallow end for the kids to play in while the adults can sip cocktails on the swim up stools next to the ocean side palapa. Relax and catch some rays on one of the may sunbeds by the pool or on the sand beach area. Right off the house is the warm Half Moon Bay where you can snorkel, swim, or cruise the bay in one of the 2 kayaks provided by the house. We have 11 lifejackets in various sizes for your use. If you feel like this is all a bit much for you, then climb into one of the hammocks under the ocean side palapa and rock yourself to sleep to the sound of the water gently lapping at the shore. After a hard day of enjoying the best of the Caribbean lifestyle, make your way up to the big roof terrace and enjoy a margarita watching the sun go down and the millions of stars appear. if you are an early bird, this is a particularly spectacular place to watch the sun rise over the ocean.
In addition to all of these great features, Valhalla offers a complimentary arrival night Mexican dinner (please advise us of any food allergies or special requirements when making your booking) if you stay for 7 nights or more.
Valhalla really has thought of everything to cater not only for big family vacations, but also as a venue for weddings, celebrations, gatherings, courses or workshops and reunions with friends (*event fee apply for large events).
House location is perfect as it is only steps from La Buena Vida and with in walking distance to most restaurants and both Akumal and Half Moon Bay.

Rate does not include 19% Sales and Lodging Taxes
Rate includes 6 days a week maid service.
Rate base occupancy 12 guests, additional adult at $500 usd/week. Additional Child(9 years and under) at $250 usd/week. Up to 18 guests (maximum occupancy).
50% of the rent will be due one week after the reservation has been process; Balance will be due 3 months before arrival plus a non-refundable damage waiver of $40 USD.
For Holidays: 50% of the rent is due one week after the reservation has been process; the Balance will be due 6 months before arrival plus a non-refundable damage waiver of $40 USD.
Please add US$300 fee if you will be having guests from outside the villa.

Villa de Valhalla Wedding and Event Info
Valhalla is a wedding favorite!
Large villa with 6 ocean facing master bedrooms with amazing views over Half Moon Bay and easy walk to everything in the village.
Wedding and Event Policies
Villa de Valhalla may not be used for special events or weddings without prior authorization and arrangements.
1. Event fees below will be added to the standard rental rates.
• Up to 25 total attendees including house guests: US$500 paid together with the final balance of the rental rate.
• 26 – 50 total attendees including house guests: US$1000 paid together with the final balance of the rental rate.
• 51-100 total attendees including house guests: US$1500 paid together with the final balance of the rental rate.
• Maximum group size 100 guests which includes guests staying at the house plus any day guests.
2. Reservation Requirement
A minimum of a 5 day rental required (7 day rental during high season and holiday weeks).
3. Event planner (additional cost) is required.
Event planner's staff is responsible for the following. The property will only allow Jennifer and Manda from Turtle Bay Weddings (www.turtlebayweddings.com) as event planners. Weddings and events are required to have them as event planners:
• Set up and take down of all chairs, tables, etc.
• All event planning functions
• Clearing up of villa communal areas at the end of the event
• Food and beverage service
4. Security deposit
• US$1000 for events for 25 guests or less, and US$2000 for events for 26-100 guests.
• Deposit is fully refundable upon departure barring any undo damage.
5. In respect for neighboring properties, all events at Villa de Valhalla should be completed by 12 midnight.
6. All events are considered on a case by case basis, and require written permission from Coco Propiedades/Monica Estrada (usually by email).
