Orchid at Casa Tre Fiori - Peaceful Paradise!

This was our third trip to St. John and our first time staying at Orchid. We took a chance staying at Orchid because we do not typically stay in residences sharing walls with other guests (my wife is particularly annoyed by noise from other people), but it was a non-issue. We did occasionally hear the guests in the units above, but only really when we were both outside on our balconies at the same time (which was for about 15 minutes the entire time we stayed). We had minimal carryover while inside the unit and only on 2 occasions actually heard footsteps from above (both units were occupied during our stay), things seemed to be well soundproofed. Orchid is a bottom floor unit with two other units above. The owner’s residence is located within eyeshot of the casa. The pool and hot tub are also shared both with the units above and the owners, we used the hot tub daily (which we had to ourselves and was glorious!) but did not use the pool (it was small and is located within the gated area of the owner's home). The unit itself had functional beach chairs which we used every day. We did a lot of cooking during our stay and had notes from the kitchen: there is a functioning ice maker! There are minimal provisions (BYO)- the only thing it could use is several larger bowls for mixing. The unit was clean and fully functional and adequate for our needs. The owners also have a sweet tabby cat Peter that visits often and is very affectionate! Overall great stay, we will book again!

Joe and Tina,are great host, this is our 7th time there and we love the quietness,comfortable bed and pillows.There is almost everything you need in the kitchen. Air conditioning in bedroom is heavenly. Thank you,Joe and Tina

Communications with owners were prompt. Easy to find with directions given. Unit was very clean and spacious with a huge porch. The gardens are lovely. Enjoyed use of the pool and hot tub which were both clean. AC and backup power appreciated. Did not require W/D, but nice to have the access. We cooked several dinners in and there was ample cookware for such. Kitchen had lots of countertop space. Great hot water and water pressure. Very quiet neighborhood. King bed in bedroom super comfortable. Blackout shades appreciated and worked well. In room safe and plenty of hangers and drawer space.Owners have 2 cats and a dog. You do not have to interact with them. We are suckers and absolutely loved the one cat (other one is shy) and the dog when we had the chance to see him.We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in the Orchid unit at Casa Tre Fiori and we thought we would list some descriptive words that come to mind about this unit---bright, spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet, private, convenient.We spent our days exploring the many beautiful beaches and enjoyed being able to return late afternoon for a swim in the pool. The lush landscape of the property was so very beautiful! Tina and Joe are available next door if you need assistance. There is a washer/dryer if you need to do a mid week refresh of clothes. We definitely intend to be repeat guests. LOVED IT!!
