About this villa rental
This property has no longer has a hot tub. Rendezvous is a private rental home conveniently located on the South Shore of St. John 5 minutes from Cruz Bay. The lushly landscaped property consists of three separate units which may be rented individually or in combination for larger groups, depending on your specific needs, 2-10 persons. Each apartment has its own entrance and parking, and is private from the other two units. Rendezvous has a community pool for the enjoyment of all guests. RENDEZVOUS VILLA VRBO #35820 is the top floor two bedroom two bath with a large covered outdoor gallery with incredible sunset view over St. Thomas. Inside has an open floor plan with high ceilings and modern kitchen. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned with private baths. RENDEZVOUS TERRACE HOMEAWAY# 4266319 also has two bedrooms and two beautiful modern baths and is located below the Villa just steps away from the pool. Both bedrooms have an ocean view and individually controlled air conditioning. The great room also has A/C and an open kitchen for spectator cooking. RENDEZVOUS COTTAGE VRBO #32177 is a very romantic one bedroom one bath Mediterranean styled villa located below the pool in its own building. The main living area is an outdoor covered screen porch surrounded by mature island landscape and ocean view. The bedroom is air-conditioned and there is a laundry center in the walk-in closet. All three apartments have the following amenities for the comfort of our guests: Fully equipped kitchen Laundry center with soap BBQ grill Linens, towels with Beach chairs, towels, toys and cooler Free Internet WiFi Local info, maps and books
Rendezvous Terrace has split unit air conditioning in the main room with a 50" flat screen tv an open Kitchen with everything you will need for a gourmet meal. There is a laundry closet with full-size front loading washer and dryer, soap and dryer sheets provided. Walk directly out to the shared pool deck and a lanai style covered living room

We had a lovely stay and would stay again. Had a few problems with the air units and water pressure was non existent but that wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

The home itself was great and in excellent location to beaches. Bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite side of each other for privacy. Ample cooking supplies for any kind of meal prep. Grill works great as well. On a side note, there is a well located under floor in front bedroom. At night you can hear the drips. Also I believe there are frogs that somehow get in there and you can hear a loud scream like sound(territory alarm). It took us a few nights to figure out but you do get use to it. The cons we had was that the property manager/owner was not on island during our stay and left communication up to his son. We had issue with rotted out beach umbrella (which is listed as amenity and very much needed on beaches). Issue finally got resolved by owner getting back with us Wednesday (4 days of not having one) for us to purchase one on his account at hardware store. Also a vehicle had rolled down the above hill. Son moved it over to side of our driveway but it left a very tight squeeze for us to back down our driveway (very steep gravel/dirt hill) to get around it. I sent text to son but he never moved it to alternate location on property. Lucky we had a jeep to use here. Pool started turning green during our stay and was fully green by last day. We never used it though. The lack of communication and/or delay of communication was a small inconvenience and luckily nothing major happened. I feel that if owner was there things may have been resolved more swiftly.

We visited over Spring Break with our 9 and 13 year old. The unit is more spacious/nicer than than the photos. The outdoor space is great (if you're wearing bug spray!). There are two other units in the building - one above, and one below, but we rarely saw the other guests. Only once did we end up in the pool area at the same time. The location is 10 minutes from the main part of Cruz Bay and 20ish minutes from the popular beaches in the National Park. Overall St. John is small, so even to Coral Bay is 40 mins. Towels, beach chairs, coolers are all provided and in good shape. Kitchen has good stock of dishes, cookware and utensils. Pretty light on spices. Beds were very comfortable and there's a daybed in the living room that can be used as well. One negative/thing to plan for is the property is right on a steep curve so there was constantly trucks honking on their way up the hill to avoid a collision (and you really have to pay attention when entering/leaving) between the horn and the roosters which are all over St John plan on using a white noise app if you want to sleep in - but its best to get to the beach early if you want a parking spot anyway ;) Overall great experience and one of our favorite rentals yet. The sunset views can't be beat!

Place was ok, but I chose the property because of the pool and hot tub. Pool had a lot of leaves and debris in it and hot tub was cloudy. Also, mosquitoes were everywhere in the house. We kept doors closed, but it did not help. I got more bug bites in the house than I did hiking.
