Woodcock Farm

Cobwebs behind bathroom radiator and over double bed. There was a serious trip hazard between hall way and living space. We tripped there several times, we are 70 and this could've caused severe harm had we tripped. We put coir mat over floor levels to reduce risk. Kettle PAT testing out of date. Need USB ports please. Clock in kitchen on wall not working, place mats dirty. Lots of weeds in plant pots and overall. Shame.

We loved the property. We was at peace as soon as we arrived. So bright and airy, great space with everything you need. We didn’t want to go home.

Definitely not a consideration when booking, as not a factor at all and shouldn’t be a reason why you don’t book, but what would make it even better would be the outside garden space. We was lovely enough to have great weather, and would have been nice to sit on the grass but it was a bit long..

The property was lovely. Everything we needed for our little break.

It was a shame not to see any animals. Assuming this is no longer a working farm? We had hoped to see sheep, lambs, chickens maybe - our little boy loves animals. I did see previous reviews mentioning a hamper of farm fresh ingredients such as eggs etc however we had no interaction with anyone on site to even discuss purchasing something like this.

Really nice location. Plenty around to see and do. We visited Bath, it was an easy half hour drive there. Bath is really lovely to visit and a lot to do and see there. We also had some lovely walks around the arboretum which was a 20mins drive. It does get busy there but we went about 3pm and plenty of space to park and beautiful views. We also went to a lovely pub for dinner which was a 20mins drive away and the food was delicious - The cat and custard pot. A really peaceful weekend away. The apartment we stayed in was cosy, warm and a lovely view. The bathroom was lovely and kitchen great. We arrived really late at night but it was easy enough to find our apartment. The hosts sent us plenty of messages to make sure we had all the instructions we needed.

Don't really have anything to say because it was a lovely stay. They do warn you the signal and wifi is bad, we didn't really need it when we were there but we just had to plan our routes/maps when we were driving out of the property.
