About this cabin rental

Relax in the Sierra Nevada mountains in this beautiful 3-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath Sugar Pine cabin rental! Only 3 miles from downtown Twain Harte. This home is over 3000 square feet and sleeps 11 people. It's perfect for your next family gathering with pool table, cocktail game table, two large living areas equipped with 55” surround sound entertainment, fully stocked gourmet kitchen, dining table seats 12 people easily, short walk to Sugar Pine lake (summer), wood stove and gas stoves for those chilly nights, outdoor gas fire pit, large deck for eating and entertaining the whole family. The basement can be a whole separate living area for more than one family with a queen size Murphy bed and a three tier bunk bed for the kids.

Between shooting pool and playing old school video games in the 800 square foot basement, relaxing on the shores of Sugar Pine Lake less than ½ mile away (Memorial Day-Labor Day), Skiing or snowboarding at Dodge Ridge, visiting downtown Twain Harte, golf courses, casinos nearby, there's entertainment for everyone!

When making your reservation request please indicate the number in your party. How many children and ages of children.

Our stay was wonderful. Hosts were very welcoming and responsive. Ample parking for our cars. Easy access to the house - I liked that it was a keyless entry. The house was huge! Lots of different hangout/living and dining areas to support a large group of adults (we were a group of 6). The mudroom was also very convenient for storage and prepping for our activities throughout the weekend. Minus one star on cleanliness as the grill was pretty dirty and a few of the liners on the beds had not been washed between guests. FYI no central AC, but we got along fine with the provided fans and there is a window AC unit in the primary bedroom. The access to the private swimming area was a HUGE plus. We sent twice during our stay. We would definitely book again.

The house was perfect for our family. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Beautiful views from the window. Quiet neighborhood. My teens enjoyed the pool table and snowboarding close by. We definitely recommend.

We come to the area every year and this has been the best home we've stayed at in the area! The place was spacious enough for four adults and 5 busy kids to spread out and now be on top of each other. The layout is great for a group or just a few. So refreshing to have a kitchen that has real pots and pans and cooking utensils. We love the little Sugarpine lake and spent many afternoons there. Great central location for exploring up or down the hill. Grocery store is just a short drive and is well stocked and has an awesome butcher counter and don't miss their great grab an go sushi. Kelly was easy to communicate with and responsive. Wish I was there right now!

This place was amazing. Cliff and Kelly were very communicative leading up to our stay. Our family had 7 adults, 2 children, and an 8 month old baby. The house had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the whole experience. We love Pinecrest and visited the lake but it was also nice utilizing Sugar Pine lake and not having to make the trek up the mountain. We will definitely be staying here again. Loved the summer evenings on the balcony!

We recently spent 6 days at Pine Lake Lodge. The cabin was fantastic ; large clean and in a great location . The check in and check out process was easy and host (Kelly) was very helpful and always answered any questions in a timely manner. Our two grandchildren enjoyed the property and nearby lake. We look forward to visiting PINE LAKE LODGE again.

We absolutely love this cabin! It was gorgeous , clean, and had everything we needed. The only thing that would've made it better would be a hot tub (I always look for those in vacation homes). It was centrally located with Twain Harte just a short drive down the road and snow about 20 mins away. The decor was great 👍 and we love the big table for dinners as a family! Kelly was awesome and helped communicate any questions or concerns right away. We definitely want to come back here! Thank you!

The place is beautiful, clean, and had every gadget you could need in the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again. There was a lot of fun outside the property for my kids and they spend a lot of time out in the snow.

This is the third year we’ve come to Pine Lake Lodge and it never disappoints! The house is always fully equipped and the kids (two 7 year old girls) are always excited for the “Holiday House)! This has become a tradition for our two families and we all look forward to it every year!

Absolutely loved this home! The owner, Kelly, was very helpful when booking and answered all my questions promptly. It was a great time for our whole family, all eleven of us. The home was beautifully furnished and the kitchen had every thing we needed to cook all the food we brought, even pans for cinnamon rolls. The property was perfect for the kids to do some sledding and we even had some deer come for a visit a few times. We will definitely return.

Booking this cabin was an excellent decision! We were a bit apprehensive because it was Thanksgiving weekend and we hoped we wouldn’t forget to pack the kitchen utensils, roasters, etc. that we knew we’d need. To our amazement the kitchen was fully stocked! Also, everyone slept comfortably! Having the bunks in the basement were perfect for the little ones and their parents. Towels were well stocked, soaps, detergent, everything! Will highly recommended this place to friends.

This cabin is a gem! It’s not only beautiful but it’s spotless. We were welcomed with a thoughtful gift. The owners took pride and love into this home. They thought of every detail. We had a great time, once again, at one of our favorite cabins. Perfect for our family of 10: Grandparents, brother's family with little kids and mine with teen and preteen. The kids had fun at the lake behind the cabin and enjoyed the special treat of the firetrucks spraying them on the docks! The hosts are wonderful and provide great amenities and communication. This home was the perfect place for our annual sibling weekend. The host was great and very quick to answer any questions we had. The home was perfect for our group with lots of space and sleeping arrangements. The living area and kitchen were large and fully stocked. The kitchen had everything you could think of for cooking. The outdoor deck was great for BBQing and hanging out in the evenings with the fire pit. You can see all the attention to detail the host has put into their home, which made us all feel at home and enjoy the weekend that much more. The location was perfect off the main road, so it was quiet, but also a short drive to surrounding areas and activities. Overall a great place and stay. We hope to return in the future.

We absolutely love this property! Not only is the house beautiful, the hosts go out of their way to provide so much so you truly have a vacation. We timed it right and had great snow and weather. We absolutely loved making a sledding hill and numerous snow creatures around the property. This has become our yearly snow vacation and I’m sure at least once for a summer vacation. Tastefully decorated, clean, has all of the comforts of home and the owner is timely with communication and gives updates on weather or where to find things. She's so good! This is a great cabin for large families even with some adult children. There is a great combination of single and queen/king beds and plenty of place for everyone. A rare find is that this cabin has a dining room table that can seat the max guests! The downstairs game room is a great hangout. And when we left something behind, the owners contacted us to ask about returning it to us. Owners are great to work with. Would definitely consider coming back.

We had the most amazing stay. The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. It had everything you could have ever imagined. We stayed over Labor Day weekend during the heatwave and thoroughly enjoyed the lake . Kids had a blast paddle boarding and just hanging out. The property owners had the most amazing communication. Pine Lake Lodge has to be the most beautiful, comfortable and generously equipped property we have ever rented - every single detail has been thought of to ensure that guests feel welcome and at home from the second they step through the door. Owner was very responsive to communications. The property is exceptionally spacious, from the cosy lounge, generous decking area and basement/games room to the luxurious master bed. The kitchen was so well equipped it felt more like a home than a rental property! All in all a definite 5 star review - we have made very special memories here - thank you!

My experience was great. The host pretty much thought of everything you could possibly need. We ended up seeing Charlie the nuisance bear on the last night we were there which was amazing to see even though he is a pain for the owners of the cabins. Everytime we said it would be nice to have this we would look and she already thought of it. Great stay and would definitely book again.

I can't say enough about how great our stay was. We spent the 4th of July holiday with our adult children just relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. There was plenty of room for us to all have privacy when we wanted it, but we spent much of our time together playing pool in the basement, playing games in the living room, or having drinks on the deck. The large dining table was perfect for family meals. The location was close enough to Twain Harte and Sonora to visit shops but also minutes from hiking/biking trails. Access to the small lake was a fun bonus too. The cabin was comfortable, spotless, and well equipped with everything you need for a 5 star stay. Can't wait to go back for another stay!
