The property is beautiful- but I wish the house was a bit cleaner. For the price I was not expecting to see dead lady bugs everywhere inside the house. My toddler who was barefoot in the house had filthy feet and lady bugs on her feet by the end of the day. Also disappointed in the lack of amenities— bring your own bath towels and coffee. Also hard to throw the trash because the trash area was full, The views were stunning though!

From the moment we stepped through the door we felt that we were home (albeit on top of a mountain)!! Mountain Home is an amazing place! It was just the two of us so we had the whole house to ourselves and we enjoyed every minute. The first night was very windy and not ever being in close proximity with bears we heard a noise in the middle of the night. We had to take flashlights and check the house to make sure we were safe, which we were (lol), and it was a fun and great adventure!! Now, after 10 days at the residence nothing phases us! We’re officially Mountain People!! Hahaha Our hosts were terrific and the whole stay was exemplary! I would highly recommend staying here! What a life experience!!! Abounds with chipmunks, squirrels, wild turkeys, bluebirds, and much more! The views were beautiful!! Thanks for everything

This cabin was perfect for our trip to the Smokey Mountains. It was a great set-up for 2 families to stay together. The beds were comfortable, the outdoor spaces had amazing views, the living room and downstairs living areas were perfect for hanging out. The kids loved the hot tub and the location was convenient to everything we wanted to do!

We realized that the house was at the top of the mountain after the first night, since we got in the property late. Great views, privacy, and interior finishes. Would definitely stay with Ayres again if this property is indicative of its portfolio. Only thing I would recommend is a welcome book on how to use some of the gidgets and gadgets in the house :)

The Mountain House was all we could have dreamed of for our Pigeon Forge vacation. Just 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, but secluded and quiet for rest and relaxation. Thank you for making our vacation awesome!

Property was located atop the mountain away from the hustle and bustle but not too far to drive back into town. Plenty of room for our family, our teens liked the bunk area and the game room in the garage while the adults loved talking around the fireplace on the front deck. Home was well appointed and property manager was very responsive with any questions or concerns. We enjoyed our time in Tennessee and would rent again from this company.

We chose this property based on the view, location, and hopes it would be a step above others by looks and price point. Sadly, the only thing that was well represented was the view and location. Also, I'll say I emailed before renting to ask questions but was never responded to. It should have been a red flag i guess. But, the view was nice facing a pretty sunrise and the location is placed conveniently in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but still away from the noise. We were very happy with the exterior look of the home but when we walked in we were very disappointed. Gate entry into the neighborhood was easy but we weren't given the alarm code to the home and the alarm was triggered. It wasn't easy reaching someone after hours. Apon entry, the home was not clean at all. The floors hadn't been vacuumed, the toilets were nasty with urine and other substances on them, vomit was all over the back of a bedroom door, makeup on pillows, and hair was everywhere. Things also needed to be fixed and maintained like the toilet, broken patio furniture, and water faucet. When I notified the property management they offered to come clean and fix it but I felt it was all stuff that should have been done before my stay. With my stay being short and with the hefty cleaning and service fee I paid, I definitely shouldn't have had to deal with any of it.

House wasn’t cleaned professionally. Each bathroom had hair on showers, one bed didn’t have clean sheets it still had hair and body fluid on it. House smells old and bad, couldn’t get one good night sleep. I definitely will not go back

Beautiful property close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Complete privacy on property. Very relaxing and plenty of space for everyone! The roads are steep and would need 4 wheel drive in winter, but my minivan was fine for the summer. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, big advantage for groups of adults.

It was absolutely beautiful, we went over a weekend that they had snow and the views were amazing! They had the roads cleaned quick and we were able to go out for a bit in the afternoon. Only issue was getting the TV's too work. Would definitely recommend!

Have stayed at many places over the decades in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area and this one has been the best by far. If you are looking for seclusion, quiet, and privacy then this is the place to stay. The home is beautiful and many of the supplies for cooking are on property without the need to bring much. This house was so beautiful and very well equipped with anything you would need in the kitchen. The outdoor area was amazing and we all had such a good time there. My only criticism would be that the entertainment system/speaker system on the bottom floor was really convoluted and half the time we could not get the remote to function well, and we didn’t have wifi access for the majority of the first three days there, which meant no tv either. Normally in Gatlinburg, that would not be a problem for us adults, but our two year old relies on music every now and then. As far as problems though, that was it. Everything was decently clean except for the dryer, which looked like the people before is had washed mud, dirt, and rocks in... whoops. The kitchen was absolutely amazing and it was very easy to make a gourmet meal. I would definitely recommend staying here and even if there are issues, management was very much available and willing to help.

This place is beautiful and convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge while still feeling away from it all. Stunning panoramic views of the mountains and the back porch and downstairs area are great for a big group to spend time together (we had four couples). Easy check in and check out. This property is a perfect fit for our family get together. Very enjoyed every minute in here. Such a nice kitchen! The outdoors and the fireplace are the best. Kids enjoyed a lot. They deserve 5 star for sure. Joseph is such an excellent host, Very communicative and took care of all questions. To think on Some Suggestions to improve, Hottub, outdoor cooking grill and some information on how to play music on outdoor speakers would add up great points to this property. Again These are just suggestions. It is still worth 5 stars. We look forward to stay again in spring.
