What a gem in the middle of Fira. Nikos is a very friendly host. The location is 7 mins walk from Fira center/bus stop (and from there you can take buses to all parts of the island). Beautiful interior inside the room and felt very authentic. The cherry on top is the balcony and the private hot tub. The balcony/hot tub is directly over looking a beautiful sea view. It's the sunrise side of the island, NOT the sunset side, but believe me it's such an amazing view we decided to skip the sunset in some days and simply spend time in the Hot tub and look at that beautiful view in the evening too.
The bathroom, especially the WC area is very small, and if you are a big person it might feel a bit tight. But overall the bathroom is not bad with a good sized round shower.
We wish it had a smart TV to relax a bit at night and a microwave to heat up any left over food we had. Just some ideas for improvement :-)

- Location: close to the Caldera, bus station in Fira, restaurants close by
- Large living room
- Spacious bathroom
- Not clean in every details
- Not much equipment to cook
- No kettle
- The outside is scary and sometimes noisy at night
- Host could be more receptive when asked for a service (such as a kettle for a tea)
- I was expecting more for the price
