The location on the water and the spectacular views and sunsets are the finest features of this property. Kitchen is also well-equipped.

There were many maintenance issues that need to be addressed for the comfort and safety of the guests. I’ve listed them in order of saliency. For safety: the sagging and faltering decks and loose nails near the sauna and at yard’s edge; the loose heat registers which can (and did) pop off, allowing for a possible tripping hazard or worse; evidence of rodent activity in some kitchen drawers; no yard fence to keep dogs safe from busy West Beach Road, which is fine as long as pet-owners are forewarned. For comfort: no door on sauna, rendering it unusable; broken blinds and missing window screens in every room of the house; burned out light bulbs in three bathrooms; very saggy twin beds; washer/dryer malfunctions; no hot water in one bathroom; dirty dishes and placemats in kitchen cabinets and drawers; and iron in water causing very yellow water with “rust” deposits (forewarned by other reviewers, we brought a countertop R.O. Filter); front door is difficult to open with code - in fact, we were only able to do so twice and needed to leave back door unlocked for our entry; kitchen sink needs screens to “keep debris out”, per house instructions. Since a number of these issues were mentioned in previous reviews, I can only conclude that the urgency of their being addressed is lacking from either the property management and/or owner’s perspective.

Very large, a lot of comfy furniture, well appointed kitchen, good parking, nice sauna - and very easy about the dogs.

The upstairs bathroom didn't flush properly - was a pain as there was ten of us staying. Also the overly rigid rules about having guests was over the top. There's a difference between having a guest over and having a raging party.

Location and views are fabulous. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare and serve meals for ten!

It’s a little dated, towels need upgrade.

The view is spectacular! The nearby beach access was great too for long walks on the shore. The home is very spacious and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Kitchen was great for cooking family meals. Wi-fi worked well. We needed assistance with opening the sauna and the Vacasa rental company responded very promptly.

The downstairs bedroom smells like an animal died in the walls. It was unusable. Because we couldn’t even open the door due to the horrible smell, we didn’t have access to a bathroom on the first floor. The housekeeping was poor. For example, there were cobwebs in many rooms and the dishes in the cabinet had pools of water in them. The tap water is yellow in color, providing a water filter or bottled water would be really nice. Prior to checking in, the Vacasa rental company said in an email that we could add an extra day, when I called the next day to do so, I was told that information was wrong and I couldn’t come a day early even though the house was available. Apparently this was because the housekeepers couldn’t be arranged a day earlier. While I understand that, the misinformation was frustrating and the house was poorly cleaned and one room smelled so bad it was unusable, surely something they would have noticed if they had been there that day cleaning.
