Historic Officer's Farmhouse at OLF

Everything was perfect, except the description on Booking dot com. The property website was very descriptive about it being across from an airfield, and that it was on a completely different island than where I was looking to stay.

Other than the noise at night, I liked everything about it

Lovely place. Really helps to have 2 bathrooms - one for each couple. Wine glasses would be a nice bonus but otherwise everything we needed was there.

I had to contact Vacasa to find out how to lock the door when we left. This should be mentioned in the arrival book. On Monday afternoons and Tuesday & Wednesday evenings, the navy fighter jets practice and they are LOUD!!! Of course, this is why there are bottles of ear plugs available - just would be good to know this in advance. If you're staying on the weekend, it should be fine (unless the schedule changes). There were 5 long boxes on the stairs, that had obviously been there for quite some time. Delivered to the wrong address so we did our best to contact someone on the neighboring property. Just very odd that someone from Vacasa or the cleaning crew hadn't moved these. When I responded to a Vacasa text, they told me they would pass along the information to the local crew - whatever that means.

The key pad lock took anywhere from 6-10 times. It also would of been nice to list acceptable items in recycling bin. Every county in Washington is different. We could not find the shovel or pooper picker upper. Was not near garbage bin outside

The house was nice and clean, very nice, the yard was pretty big for kids to play

One thing I was very disappointed was that we rented this house for some friends that come to visit us and we took them to show them the house and 30 min later (by this time we had already left the house) I got a call from the house manager that the owner saw the cameras that we where a lot of people for that house and I explain to her that we were not going to stay there only 3 people, but that we did want to hang out there and the lady said no matter what at all times we only could had 6 people. We where only 9 including 2 kids and the 3 that stayed. FYI if you have 6 people you can’t have nobody visit you.
