Tenuta Terra e Sole

The exterior of the facility and the terrace is lovely. If you are looking for a peaceful, unplugged type of vacation or retreat with stunning scenic views of the Italian countryside, this is the place. The restaurant is opened for dinner every night, thankfully, otherwise we would have starved because there are not other options nearby!

Extremely remote and isolated. You MUST have a car; this location is not walkable. The hotel is perched on a hill in the country, which creates beautiful panoramic views of the countryside and surrounding mountains, however, there is absolutely nothing to do. And I do mean NOTHING. The wifi is spotty. There isn’t a walkable village or town. No shops or amenities. The pool is incomplete, unfortunately. The closet village is 40min walk. NO taxi or Uber available. The room interior is standard; there is room for improvement. My recommendation to the Owners is to organize and tidy up the common spaces. The common spaces are cluttered with the owner’s “stuff”.

The place was magnificent. One absolutely needs a car to Gert around.

Loosing my International Driver's License and not having a car to move around (mobility).

We absolutely loved this place! The owners and staff super friendly. They made us feel like part of their family. We will come back.
