To many steps

Very cute and bright studio located on the top floor of a two-story house in an exceptional neighborhood. You're close to anything you want to be closed to and the restaurants in the area are exceptional. I liked the open plan and the windows that surrounded it on all sides. They let plenty of light in, though they also have blinds in case you want darker. There's an AC, heaters, and also some of the windows open to regulate the temperature -- one of the windows even had a bug net so it could be left open without worrying of critters coming in. I personally loved the rooftop windows right above the bed because I like to wake up with natural light, but I can see how some might be bothered by the brightness (these windows have no blinds). And I loved watching the rain stream down them as I lay in bed. The bed and the pillows were comfortable; as was the couch. The kitchen is small with a built-in stove (but no cook-top). There was a coffee maker and plenty of coffee pods and even a hot-water kettle. Cutlery is but for two people, one small spoon, but there is a wine bottle opener and cutting board with a good chef's knife. The internet was incredibly fast and I loved the cool lighting around the house and in the bathroom.

- The stairs to get up to the top are narrow. If you have a large suitcase they will be a bit challenging to navigate; somebody has to come show you the entrance to the stair because it's not obvious at all. - The fridge is tiny. A medium size fridge would be welcome. - There are plenty of glasses, but only espresso cups; some larger cups for tea would've been nice. - The shower handle only hangs up vertically in it's support, with no directional adjustment -- water comes out of it horizontally; luckily the curtain keeps it from splashing everywhere. If you need two hands to wash your hair, it'll be a bit of a challenge.
