L'Ancora di Amalfi

This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip around Europe. It was exceptionally clean, in a perfect location, and had spacious, bright, and comfortable rooms. We are very particular when it comes to hotels, but we were extremely satisfied throughout our stay and will definitely stay here again on our future trips to Amalfi. Alfonso was incredibly helpful with everything we needed and gave us a wonderful introduction to the Italian way of life and hospitality. We highly recommend this place!

Alphonso was awesome. Great communication, showed us the apartment in detail, gave great suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Checked on us the day of departure. The apartment was very clean and provided the things we needed. Slept great.

No negatives!

Our special and heartfelt thanks go to the host of this wonderful apartment. He was exceptionally kind, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Every time we contacted him, he responded promptly and provided useful additional information about where to have lunch, where to shop and what places were worth visiting. The host also recommended and found a wonderful private driver for us. Thanks to his help, we enjoyed an unforgettable seven-hour tour and discovered even more beautiful places along the Amalfi Coast. The apartment was spotlessly clean, tidy and very comfortable. Its location in the very heart of Amalfi is perfect. Shops, restaurants, bus stops, the harbour, boats and ferries are all within easy reach. We wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to enjoy a comfortable, interesting and memorable holiday in Amalfi. Thank you for your kindness, constant attention and sincere care. You helped make our stay truly special. With heartfelt thanks, Iruta and Onutė from Lithuania.

There was nothing we disliked. Everything was wonderful. We would not change anything about our stay.

The location was perfect, very central, just a short 5 minute walk from the ferry port and bus terminal. The host, Alfonso, was very communicative beforehand and during the stay, providing lots of helpful information. The apartment was clean and had everything we could possibly need for a short stay.

Just a comment that on Booking.com it says there is a balcony, and also lists things like a bar, picnic area and games room! I didn't expect there to be those things, but if someone did they might have been disappointed.
