Beautifully constructed 2019 new home on a property with gorgeous mountain range views and horse farm views. Large open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. Great views from entire downstairs living rm dining room and kitchen. Central A/C Grand floor to ceiling stone fireplace enjoyable from living room, kitchen, and dining room.Large kitchen island with chairs for casual dining, granite countertops throughout. All stainless steel appliances,filtered well water on refrigerator door, and all kitchen supplies included . One large king bedroom with spectacular master bath. A large queen bedroom with spacious bath . A bunk bedroom with a daybed pullout to accommodate 4 comfortably ,with a full bathroom off the bedroom. A beautiful spacious tv loft area overlooking the spectacular fireplace and open living room with a pullout queen size bed. A grand deck area with an elevated breathtaking view of a grand pond and horse farm with the serene Idyllic mountain range in the backdrop w fire pit and Adirondack chairs..
The property is a short 2 min drive into the center of town where you will find a wide selection of wonderful restaurants and shops. Ski Windham is a 5 minute drive and Hunter Mt ski area is a 15 min drive away. There are a wide selection of hiking trails for a winter hike or anytime hiking. There is a wonderful selection of golf courses all within minutes drive of the home. If your up for a Waterpark experience with the family ,the Zoom Flume Waterpark is a short 10 min drive,or you can take a short 25 min drive over to North Lake & South Lake for a kayak or canoe experience, or just lay on the beach with a beautiful mountain range surrounding you. There are many beautiful hiking trails with waterfall views and a spectacular 5 state view overlooking the Hudson River all within a 25 min drive of your relaxing mountain home away from home.

We selected this house, in large part, because we stayed here before – a month in 2020. After that month, I gave the house a 5 rating. Four years later, the house is still a 5. Why? Check-In – easy instructions and well in advance. Location – Windham is a great town, and the house might be in the most peaceful and comfortable setting. The House – open space, high ceilings, air conditioning, spotless, and everything you need (from towels, toiletries, clean sheets to a fully stocked kitchen). The host – Ray is not just a great host (two times over) but is a super nice person. From the restaurant selections, the bottle of wine (a Brunello di Montalcino), the extra coffee mugs to putting us up in a hotel (a blackout knocked out power for some time), Ray was, and is, the consummate host. When you add it all up, we had a great two weeks and if there’s a third time, you know where we’ll be.
