This ten acre country get away features rolling valley views and mountain vistas. During your stay in our home, you will witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets in the heart of the Shenandoah. Built in 1746 this historic log home has all of the modern convenience a family could need combined with historic charm. Built before the American Revolution this property was the scene of a native uprising and is said to have been a stop on the Underground Railroad during the American Civil War. It is a working farm surrounded by corn and soybeans.
Conveniently located 4 miles west of Mt Jackson's I-81 exit 273. Our home is central to historic sites, caverns, a distillery, vineyards, breweries, golf and Bryce Resort as well as many hiking and outdoor adventures.

This was a fantastic place for our family reunion of 11 people. It's comfortable, homey, cozy and spacious, the scenery of the surrounding countryside is amazing and the historical flavor of the place just gave us a unique and enjoyable experience!

Beautiful location, beautiful home! Great, responsive hosts. Remote feel but close to lot's of attractions like wineries, hiking, river. We look forward to staying here again!
