Bare Necessities was a great mountain home for our family to stay while preparing for our Daughters wedding in Luray over the weekend and a great place to relax afterwards for a few days! Very well accommodated and extremely clean! Thank you!

This property was first rate in every way. My 19 year old son and I stayed for two nights while visiting Shenandoah National Park. The house is just as it appears in the listing, everything in great condition, basic supplies (coffee, dish liquid, shampoo, etc) properly stocked. Very pleasant comfortable home. Modern up to date cabin with high ceilings creating very open roomy feeling. It was a bit further from the entry to the National Park than I expected. It was about 25 minutes, but it was a simple pleasant drive. I expect to return to this property.

This lovely mountain home was the perfect setting for a long weekend away! It's convenient to hiking trails, caverns, charming towns, and more. The owners provided helpful recommendations to take full advantage of nearby attractions and restaurants. The home offers modern amenities while maintaining a cozy feel. Their thoughtful touches and attention to detail make your stay comfortable. We would love to visit again!
