PLEASE NOTE; that unlike almost all "pool;" properties we have a large and TOTALLY PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL and NOT a community pool which is often mis-portrayed in listings as a private pool on premises but in reality is a shared condo, public or apt. pool. Ours is just remodeled. Suitable for lap swimming.....

We are here to "advise" first time visitors on the best sights, restaurants, tours, etc. if they wish. Fly directly into our lovely SB airport easily from Seattle, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas or Chicago. Avoid LAX hassles!! We are a very unique property. You will have a real SB homestay experience with us. But, if you want complete solitude and no interaction, that is fine.

We are very flexible on check- in and check- out times in accordance with your flights and other travel plans. Scheduled on a case by case basis by your hosts. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST included for first morning. Snacks too. New Keurig and complimentary coffee/cream whenever you wish. (French press also) Excellent Wi-Fi Reception on property.
Fabulous views from pool deck area and from inside Suite. Reminiscent of French and Italian Rivieras.
Newer and very clean guest suite with hardwood floors and separate private entrances, adjoining main house.
This is the end wing of a beautiful SB home with separate water, heating, electrical systems, A/C ,from main house. No noise transfer from or to Suite from house. 2 room Suite with queen bed and adjoining room with king bed. Top quality sleeping!! No sofabeds........Desk area if you want to work.......... Excellent wi fi receception.
Second room also has kitchenette , bathroom and table seating for four. . Suite has fridge, micro, toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, blender, air fryer, elec. fry pan. Elec juicer for oranges you can pick! Please note we do not have a complete stove for "heavy" cooking. We have outdoor grilling avail.
Lots of local small wildlife and birds visit our yard regularly. Two small rescue dogs on property who love guests. Spectacular 4 feet caged iguanas in residence. Photo ops!
A botanical delight with an abundance of flowers and plants and bids of all kinds. Perfect retreat for discerning guests. Swim day or night in (82 degree)heated pool. during summer months. Run of property at will. Pool heated by solar and gas. We are similar to a casual higher end hotel /resort in atmosphere and privacy. No other property offers what we do. Easy off street parking.........
One of the most spectacular views in SB, yet 5 to 10 minutes to everything. We greet all of our guests in person to make sure they are comfortable and settled in. We are discretely on property (a senior couple) when guests are here and are available for whatever you might need. No management companies!! Total privacy.
No standardized rules to observe.......A true vacation in your home away from home. We are respectful of your privacy but also enjoy good conversations with our guests........We have ......boogie boards, chairs for the beach.......
.Local adult guests and adult relatives are welcome to visit ONE DAY for your 3-4 night stay. Full use of pool and facilities, but no overnights.

This is an amazing property. Perfect location and absolutely beautiful. Anne is a wonderful host with lots of great suggestions for local restaurants and attractions. Highly recommended!

Anne was a great host! She is very hospitable and attentive to our needs. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay! Breakfast for the first morning was a welcoming perk. The view of Santa Barbara from the property was breathtaking! We will definitely return! Thanks Anne!

Our stay at Anne’s property was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Anne is the kind of host who makes you feel welcome the moment you arrive. She is warm, kind, and genuinely caring, making us feel more like family than guests.The house itself was beautiful, cozy, spotless, and exceptionally comfortable. Anne truly went above and beyond by stocking the kitchen with breakfast foods, snacks, and coffee, which was such a thoughtful touch. Every detail was considered, and she made sure all of our needs were met throughout our stay.One of the highlights of the property is the stunning backyard oasis. The in-ground pool and jacuzzi were the perfect way to unwind after the excitement and busyness of our wedding weekend with friends. Anne struck the perfect balance between getting to know us and giving us complete privacy to enjoy the space and relax.Her property is beautifully maintained, with gorgeous gardens throughout. As an added bonus, she generously shared some of her homegrown fruit with us to take home, which was such a special and memorable gesture.The ocean views were simply breathtaking. Waking up each morning and looking out at the water felt like a dream. It added an extra layer of peace and beauty to an already amazing experience.We truly had an unforgettable stay and would not hesitate to return. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway, and having the pleasure of meeting Anne is an added bonus.

This was our second stay at this property, and we can't wait to come back again! We are a group of 4 besties that went to UCSB, and Anne's home has become our favorite place for our annual reunion. She is always so thoughtful, making such an effort to make us feel at home. She provide snacks, breakfast foods, and even a bottle of wine! Truly going above and beyond. And this time she added an ice maker to go with the filtered water. That was such a nice convenience for us.The property is gorgeous! The pool and hot tub are wonderful, as many have said. But for me, what makes this property exceptional is the view and all of the hundreds of gorgeous plants. I could spend hours just exploring and appreciating her yard. And Anne said I could take cuttings if I wanted! She is always so kind and just the best host. And her two adorable dogs are just as welcoming. :) We can't wait to stay there again!
