The apartment is located in a gated community, meaning everything is clean and secure. The pool was really lovely. The beach is quite close.
There was absolutely no water pressure in the kitchen and washing the dishes was a pain. There was a direct path to the beach through a gate and you need a special 'resident card' to get through it. So we had to walk an extra 200m to go through the Mayan ruins to get to the beach. Also, it takes forever to get warm water in the shower - but it seems to be a common problem in Mexico.
