This peaceful, virgin property is one of the finest and secure gated communities at Lake Arenal. Our home feels incredibly peaceful, spacious and relaxing with dramatically framed lake and mountain views.
This home is cared for by a locally-based property management staff, to help you when needed and to ensure that your stay with us goes smoothly.
Rooms: Main house- 1 Master Queen bed +full Bath and 2 twin bed with full bath and an extra bath for guest. 1 casita with master Queen bed and full bath.
The interiors include natural wood, marble, granite, and handcrafted tiles. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel high end appliances, elegant wood cabinets, and granite counter tops.
The rental manager can help you with travel arrangements if told in advance.
Available options: maid service - on request- you pay the maid directly

Outstanding stay. View from the veranda was awesome as was the birdwatching. Easy to get to restaurants and groceries. Kitchen was equipped nicely. Beds were comfortable.

Great view of the lake and Costa Rican wildlife sounds and sites. It was a close 30 minute drive to the waterfalls. Great food down the road. Wonderful communication with the host.

Loved it!!! Would be 5 star should the property owner had communicated with us to fix some issues. Water pressure issue on our last day, missing a lot of outdoor lighting, one of 4 toilets not working and bathroom lighting near mirrors for ladies to put on makeup:) Otherwise this is a gem!

The pictures accurately describe this property and the view is very nice. I've used VRBO for over 20 years and, while I can't put my finger on it, this place fell short of VRBO standards. (This is the first time I've not provided an excellent rating.) The directions to get there were terrible so make sure you look for the bus stop, not the Yacht Club sign!
Also, had we not met a man who lived in the development I'm not sure how long we would have waited to get in the gate.
You should know that there is no air conditioning in the common areas and it got really hot during the day. (No air conditioning is common in Costa Rica but this place is really warm.) When we arrived there was a huge piece missing from the wood floor.and it is apparent that they have termite damage. (We arrived a day late so I'm not sure why this didn't get fixed in advance!) The casita shows a TV in pics but it isn't hooked up! The bathroom had, at one time, a soap/ shampoo dispenser but it fell off and the backing stayed! Also, air conditioning froze up and TV quit working in main part of the house. Finally, the property manager offered to help us with any excursions yet referred us to a boat owner who didn't speak english..needless to say , that wasn't an option. I think that with a little attention, this place could have been great. However, first impressions being what they are, I can't rate it any higher.
