About this house rental
The exterior of our home inclues a 600 sq. foot covered wraparound porch where we gather, read and paint--even on rainy days (a real plus as we do get warm rain). The interior is all custom made by one of the local artisan contractors, including slotted bamboo kitchen cupboards and custom carved doors and accent pieces. We are also continously adding to our art collection which currently includes several colorful paintings. This truly feels like an inviting home base, from which you can explore the beauty and wonder of Costa Rica.
Sitting on our deck looking over the lake is like being on tropical safari. The area is a serene, magical place to rendezvous with nature. We are 40 minutes from La Fortuna (much closer than many lake homes) and even closer to zip lining, kayaking, horseback riding and gorgeous Volcano Arenal. The house has a spacious, open floor plan and wrap around deck with spectacular views. We enjoy the breeze off the lake, which provides comfort year round. We hope you come enjoy our slice of heaven!

We really enjoyed the stay here. ( Family of 4). Big rooms. Open concept kitchen. Fast wifi for kids. Steve the property manager was very helpful too.

The grounds and wrap around deck were wonderful. We spent most of the time on the deck. Steve was most helpful with his suggestions and knowledge of the area. The carved wood in the house was exceptional. The nights were a bit warm for us and the hill to get to the property was doable but difficult with a car. Location was great and all the restaurants were fabulous.

I highly recommend this property. The large covered tile patio overlooks gorgeous landscaping. The well-appointed main room has a very comfortable, double reclining, leather sofa. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The host, Steve, was very pleasant and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this property, lovely view of the lake and it really is in a good location for adventuring out to Arenal Volcano, Cano Negro , and also Tenorio volcano the first being the nearest to the house. We had dinner one night at the Gingerbread restaurant not to be missed! The house has everything you need, the covered porch is a plus when the rain blows through.If you are coming to the Lake Arenal area I would indefinably recommend this house
