The price for the week was very reasonable and I think appropriate. I wouldn’t expect this property to get high ratings, but you get value for the price. All of the properties in the park were well maintained and the park is quiet. It’s obvious the people living there take great care of their properties.
The unit had a remote thermostat which was left in an area that wasn’t easily found. It was set to 17 degrees and cold when we arrived. I messaged the owner about wifi and the thermostat, but never heard back. Luckily we found the thermostat. It was equipped with a few basics like dish washing soap, toilet paper, and trash bags. It would have been nice to also have a roll of paper towels and a box of tissues to get us started before we went to the store.

The host was very kind and helpful. The chalet was spotless. The site is very quiet and well kept.
The only minor issue is the site location:
- There is no pavement going into Dornoch, so if you want to walk, you will need to walk on a 60mph road (dangerous at night).
- Whilst dogs are welcome, they are not allowed to do their business on or around the site. Due to the lack of pavement, they cannot be walked in the vicinity of the chalet. Therefore, a short drive to the beach/town is required when walking the dog.

Convenient and good value for money. Good facilities .
Arrival instructions wrong . Unable to contact owner or bookings.com for over 45mins and just lucky we finally got a contact number . Owner knew instructions were incorrect but made no effort to make sure we could contact them . Very disappointing start . Impossible to contact booking.com. Instructions need fixing ASAP
