Pebble Cottage

Clean, quiet and cosy. Very functional and comfortable. Good location and parking. Close to amenities. Would definitely consider in the future.

The owners communication prior to our visit was excellent. We were sent directions and their phone number in case there was an issue. The cottage is lovely for an overnight stay. The main room with lounge/through kitchen is very spacious and was clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom is tired but appeared clean. Our only complaint is the noise from the boiler which is situated in a cupboard in the kitchen, which we didn't notice when in the main room. However, when in the bedroom the noise is loud. We were going to turn it off, but felt that might cause issues. We didn't phone the owner as it was after 11pm when we went to bed. Other than this the cottage is a pleasant overnight stay.

See above.

We only booked the cottage at 2pm and arrived approximately 3.30 but wow what a find! Excellent facilities, very clean and tidy, easy to understand access instructions to property issued to us. Shame we were only staying a single night

I’m still giving the property 10/10 but the shower screen leaks and because the shower was so powerful and I wasn’t aware of the screen leak I had to spend 10 minutes mopping the floor! This is more a note for the owner and not a criticism because we would 100% book again 😊

The cottage was perfectly located, warm and clean, with great instructions and communication from the hosts. We could have easily made a meal if desired and the bathroom was huge.

Unfortunately the bed was terribly uncomfortable and the smallest we slept in out of the 9 accommodations we booked while touring the NC500. The room could easily accommodate a king size bed. But worst of all the mattress felt lumpy, unsupportive and we both had bad backs the next day. Such a shame as the rest of the accommodation was lovely but a good night's sleep is the most important thing so for that reason we would not book again.
