About this villa rental
Set in the beautiful gated community of Tower Lake the villa is perfectly placed for all attractions. Driving from the Villa Legoland is 20mins, Disney 45mins, Sea World 50mins, Universal Parks 50mins, NASA 75mins and Busch Gardens 75mins. Local amenities less than 5mins away include a 24hr Walmart, pharmacy, banks, numerous other shops and a variety of places to eat. Our fabulous light and spacious 2 storey villa is perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day at the theme parks. Not overlooked from the back the south facing pool and patio enjoys the sun from dawn to dusk. The den area upstairs and open plan living area downstairs provide space for everyone to do as they wish. Free Wifi and Fios TV’s (x4) are provided and for the footie fans English Premiership football is available most days during the season. Golf fans will be pleased to know that there is a course less than 5mins away and many more within a short drive, including the Disney ones.

unit was very nice, very clean, and well maintained. great pool area. Plenty of sun and shade. All the pool furniture was nice. Location is wonderful. However, none of the bedrooms upstairs had ceiling fans, and you could not adjust the temperature of the unit. It was very uncomfortable upstairs. Sleep upstairs was terrible. Never rented a unit that did not have ceiling fans in all bedrooms. For that reason alone, we would not rent this unit again.

Catherine was very accommodating and we appreciate how responsive everyone was to our requests (even when it was our mistake!). The only improvement I would suggest would be to allow guests to adjust the thermostats as it was locked at 76 degrees.

Biggest issue the cost of the property was listed in English pounds on VRBO. We didn’t realize it and we were charged an extra $1000 dollars on our credit card for 24 days. VRBO refused to do anything about it even though VRBO’s bylaws say all listings will be in US dollars! VRBO suggested I cancel, it was too late and would have lost my deposit's. Also it wasn’t listed that there was an extra charge for heating the pool in the original add .it cost an extra $30 a day to heat the pool.The microwave and stove are outdated.The beds in the 3 upstairs bedrooms are the lowest quality beds you can buy. The foosball table is very cheap and held together with glue, wouldn’t let anyone play it. The TV upstairs in the sitting area is an old tube TV with a half green picture.
The downstairs Master Suite was very clean and comfortable . There are stains in the rugs with one hidden by a throw down rug in front of the couch downstairs. . Otherwise this home is very comfortable and a nice home, The pool is very nice with a pool bathroom outside which is great so you don’t track water through the house. Nice gated community. House maintenance person responded very quickly to any issues. Owner needs to do a couple upgrades and this house would be a 5. Would recommend
